GT85 Lubricant 400ml Aerosol
Penetrating lubricant with PTFE and contains no CFC's. Great for displacing water. Ideal for derailleurs, cables, brake levers etc. Also a great frame polish.

Excellent stuff!

"This is, as the Wiggle review says, not a chain lube, most emphatically. You don't want to get it on your brake blocks or wheel rims (you want your brakes to grip when you apply them!). But for pretty much every other part of your bike, this is a brilliant lube and water displacer. When I'm degreasing my chain and cassette, this'll drive out the rinse water- and help clean the dirt off too, Brilliant for SPD pedal mechanisms, brake levers, frame cleaning....Use sparingly and your bottle or spray will last for ages too."

"I was in the WD40 brigade as it just happened to be in my garage. After all there is loads of stuff on the tin about stopping rusting and lubricating gates - but I don't ride a gate!
A friend recommended GT85 and I haven't looked back - this really is the cat’s pyjamas. I ride my bike lots and clean it after every ride so an economical lubricant is essential. You can use this in all the places on a bike that you'd expect but I like to spray on the underside of mud guards as it seems to stop masses of mud collecting. Also, a thin coating on the frame helps to shift the mud when you come to clean it.

"This Product is fantastic excellent water displacer, I use this on my gears after giving them a really good going over and it drives the water right out of there.
I use it on the frame, and derailuers but for a chain lube I'll be getting some proper stuff, Its is a remarkable product and excellent price if this is not in your shed get some now!"

It just works

It is a can of GT85, what more can i say?
"It is a can of GT85, what more can i say? Have used it to lube all my gears and brakes (not on disc or pads ofcourse lol) and cables. Literaly use is EVERYWHERE on your bike, but for chain use proper chain lube."

"I use this for cleaning, rather than lubricating - it is try amazing at shifting grease and oil. For example. I use an old toothbrush to get into hard to reach places, when it is totally black, a quick spray reveals the white bristles again instantly.

"I've been using GT85 for 15 years and it's very useful. I follow the chain maintenance routine set down by Team Raleigh's mechanics back in the early '90s. Degrease the chain, chainrings and cassette, wash off the degreaser, dry, spray on GT85, dry, apply lube. It works really well. I also use GT85 to spray over exposed parts of my motorbike as it helps muck to slide off rather than sticking."
