Early days but looking good
Pros: Great Value, Lightweight, Good Fit
"OK - so I haven't ridden the bike with this yet but I am impressed with the light weight, build quality and the simplicity of the solution. It definitely clamps well and I can't see how it can do anything but fail. When I've got to the point of paying $NZ1 (50p) per gram saving on the bike and then I found these at half that (or better) it is great value,"

Light & good concept
Pros: High Quality, Lightweight
"Simply wind them on to tighten - seems like a simple and effective idea and achieves the same result as a cam lever in normal skewers - about 0.5cm of axle sticks out that needs to be sawn down on front axle - though not sure taking the rusty hacksaw in my garage to a beautiful titanium rod is a great idea, perhaps a trip to an engineering firm is in order"

One of the best qr's
Pros: Rugged, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: not for all frames
"One of the best qr's ever I used! It's like small axle, because here you torque it, but NOT close as common qr, so you can do it with more force. There is no problem with shuffling rotor on the front wheel, no unintentional opening. I have used it over 2 years, and for this time nothing problems with it. But... it doesn't approach for all frames. Rear qr doesn't approach for Merida HFS 2007 frame, it prevents to torque qr, so you can't tighten qr with enough force."

Pros: Attractive, Lightweight
Cons: delicate
"Am on my second set of these now. Look the biz, are bang on the weights quoted in the ad. Relatively cheap means of losing the weight on an already light bike. The reason i am on my second set though is that when tightening the last set i overtightened them and stripped the thread on the front. Probably my fault but to me a little delicate so be gentle with them."

Lightweight alternative
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
"I've not been a fan of lightweight cam-style skewers, they always feel flimsy and hard to tighten, so these are a great alternative.
For those that don't know how they work you essentially turn the skewer to tighten it. You need to have a bike with fairly flat dropouts for them to work. I don't think they will work with cowled dropouts for example.
They should fit all forks and I have been using them on my bikes (MTB and road) for a few years. Only once had a problem, that was when a rock struck the skewer and undid it slightly, but it was easy enough to put right and no damage done.
Some really neat features as well, like a small allen key fitted to the spindle, incase it seizes or becomes hard to undo I assume, never had to use it though.
Simple, effective and lightweight."

Spin Stix
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: Expensive
"I love these, so easy to use and light! I have them on my Focus Cayo and TT bike. They look cool too. They are slightly pricey but still reasonable for the weight savings."

Great lightweight skewers
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
"I was a bit sceptical moving away from the cam-type skewers, but given the weight and cost, persuaded to try these. They are light and well built and for the few rides so far, have proved very solid without any slip or loosening.
If you want to drop that last few grams, definitely worth a look."

Does the job
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: finish
"Nice light weight skewer. Works with a very secure twist lock instead of the usual cam action. I'm 6.5' and 15 stone and have no creaking or slipping from ether front or rear wheels/skewers.
The only problem I have had is a cosmetic one. After a bout 6 months use, the bright red finish had turned into faded dull washed out pink color"

blingy and practical
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight
"Super light (I think the packaging was actually heavier!) and they look awesome. You can get a tight clamp without the hand bruising pressure that some QR's require. They're probably more aero too."

Very light, simple
Pros: Lightweight
"Very light skewers that work very effectively. Easy to use consistently after a minute of practice as they use a twist lock instead of a traditional cam lock."

USE Spin stix
Pros: High Quality
"I have purchased this product previously and they are great. Not sure what happened to one of my first pair, but they failed after about 3 years. I was very happy with them so I have bought a 2nd set. They are simple to use, and faster the competitors when you are in a hurry - racing. Again cheaper to buy online and have shipped to your door, than go to local bike shop."

Does the job
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Good Fit, Great Value
Cons: fit close to frame possible too close for some
"These seem to work well. As they are turned to tighten them you need to make sure they will clear your rear drop outs. I have a Kestrel Evoke and the clear 3/4 of the way around which works and allows me to tighten them adequately."
