Never thought you'd be impressed by shiny chain?
Pros: High Quality, Rugged, efficient, labour saving
"My local bike shop tried to sell me an integrated degreaser/chain cleaner made by a leading lubrication brand . The cleaning device looked pretty ordinary, despite a hefty price tag. So I thought better of it, and instead went to my favorite online cycle shop. Park Tools was as far as I needed to search; a brand that screams quality. I ordered. It arrived. I used it. Brilliant. Simple to set up. Put some eco friendly degreaser in it, clamped it on the chain, turned the pedal, job done. I can't even recall if the chain looked that good when it was new. If only cleaning the rest of the bike was this easy. Quality is remains long after price is forgotten they say. To be honest I've already forgotten how much it cost, but Ive got a spotless chain with next to no effort, and I never thought I'd be impressed by such a thing."

Better than a toothbrush
Pros: Great Value, High Quality
"If you want a really clean chain, you have two choices. Either use a toothbrush and lots of elbow grease, and most of a morning. Or.... use the Park Chain cleaner. The latter wins hands down - very clean chain & easy to use. You're far more likely to use this regularly than a toothbrush, so your chain stays cleaner and your drivechain stays happier."

Chain cleaner, clears up!
Pros: Durable, Good Fit, High Quality, Rugged
"Qu: how do you save money? Ans: spend money!
If you don't have a chain cleaner - why not?
Do you spend £2k on a flat screen to supply it with a £5 cable? - NO! Do you buy a Ferrari and then shoe it with remoulds? - NO!
So why run a bike with all of todays chain, shifting, and chainring technology and not keep it in full working order? Thats right - think about it!
Park quality, and ease of use mean that you have no reason not to keep your trusty steed in tip top condition every week.
Better use and longer life span make this ££££ a £££££ saver in the long term!
Its honestly one of the best tool box additions that you'll buy, and this is a good 'un!"

great product
Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Rugged, easy to use and little mess, saves time
"Park Tools CM5 chain cleaner. This plastic chain cleaner is very well made and much stronger than cheaper brands I have used. You simply clip it on to the bottom of the chain, fill to the level indicated with degreaser, and turn the cranks a few times in reverse. The brushes and foam pad surrounds the chain and leaves it spotlessly clean. A magnet at the bottom collects metal particles .A very small amount of degreaser is spilt, so its a much less messy operation than cleaning with spraying or brushing the chain conventionally. I pour degreaser into a container and after settlement ,re use for the next clean. Cleaning the chain cleaner is simple . I remove foam pad and wash in water, and run the tap into the cleaner and its done."

good cleaner
"this is a pretty good chain cleaner. Easy to fit to the chain and does it jobs. The plastic holds up well to the degreaser and no cracks yet (this has been a problem with other cleaners i have used)"

Very well made but....
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive, dubious advice in instructions
"Typical Park Tool quality - i.e. very good and very easy to use.
My problem with it is that I read the instructions with it (i.e. about using solvents) and then read the KMC website, where is specifically says that devices such as this should not be used with solvents, as they are too harsh and remove the lubrication from within the chain."

Still the best
Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality
"This is my 2nd Cyclone (ran over the original) so that goes to show haw good these are. Sometimes you can drip a bit of fluid whilst cleaning, but compared to all other chain cleaners Ive used this one easily takes the cake."
