great little chain tool
Pros: Durable, Great Value
"This little chain breaker was purchased for my workshop. I know it is not the 'workshop' model but I only change chains 3 or 4 times a year on my bikes so this should do the job. First impressions are that the push pin and thread are very high quality. I also like the fact that the handle for the pin can slide through so you really can use it like a normal vice. I found this important as I needed to move the handle to get good leverage when driving the chain pins out. The handle part is a litle small but the unit is designed for the sadle bag. It also looks like it would fit in a vice nicely.
I'm very happy with the product and have faith that it will survive and provide good service for a number of years at my usage rate."

Park tool chain tool
Pros: Great Value
Cons: crooked pin
"Pin was bent which would damage chain link so sent back before use. Otherwise it looks as if it would do the job well. Waiting for replacement."

"Great, simple chain tool. Used it on Shimano and SRAM chains. Very effective in the home toolbox. As the advert says, "simples""

perfect tool for the saddle bag
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Rugged, High Quality, Lightweight
"this is easy to use by far and much more solid than the sort of chain tool that comes as part of a multitool whilst cheaper and more compact than some of the industrial bike shop devices. Compared to my multitool set up the facility to loosen links is also much appreciated. I already had one and bought this second one to go in the bag of my touring bike.
Thoroughly recommended

Pros:
Cons:

Simano 9spped 10speed
Pros:
Cons:

Value For Money
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Rugged, High Quality
"This item arrived promptly and well packaged. Fortunately I have only had to use it once to repair a chain, but it appeared sturdy and well made, and small enough to fit into my tool kit. I have no adverse comments at this stage."

broken :-(
Cons: Wears Out Easily
"worked brilliantly about three times, but the thread inside stripped meaning that the bolt (pokey?) part could wander off course, despite best efforts to keep everythinglined up, and eventually snapped off."
