Useful Gadget

"I built a mountain bike with an Ultegra chainset in order to have larger gears when fitted with skinny road tyres as I can only have one cycle to do both road and singletrack. However the chainset required the fitting of a road derailleur to shift over the larger chainrings and this operated with a bottom pull and my mountain bike frame was brazed for top pull. Hence this gadget to convert the cable pull direction, The quality of the DMR mech verter is the big plus point with a brass bearing and a metal rather than plastic pulley. So if you need to change the direction of your cable pull then fit this."

"The brazed on boss for the front changer pull reverser on my Focus Pro broke off leaving me with a problem. Luckily I found the Converter enabling me to continue to use my favourite Cross Bike. result one very happy owner."

You spin me round, round, baby...
"Funky little widget lets you use a bottom pull front derailleur with a frame that's only got top-tube routing. I needed it to use a road derailleur on an alloy hybrid frame that was designed for mtb components.
Looks and feels strong, clamps on nice and firm, plastic pulley runs on a thin brass bushing and all seems to work fine. How it'll fair with a season's road grim thrown at it from the rear wheel we'll have to see..."
