Fantastic pedals but watch those shins!
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Rugged
Cons: more grease should be supplied
"I bought these as direct replacements for SPD's that I was using as I was never totally confident being clipped in - a result of a rather embarrassing accident that left me paranoid every time I rode my bike!
The grip is fantastic and the large platform leaves plenty of room to find a comfortable position. I use them with Shimao DX shoes and the two together are simply brilliant.
I can now concentrate on the actual riding and trail in front rather than thinking about unclipping when approaching the rough stuff in case I need to put my foot down quickly. As I said above, I was paranoid about not being able to unclip if it got hairy.
The main downside, if you can call it that, is that if you do find the pedals spinning wildly you will end up with nice purple and sore shins. Get some veggie shin pads and it's not an issue!
The little grease injector is a good idea but you only get enough grease for one use on each pedal. Oh, and watch the tiny, tiny grub screw that you need to remove from the grease port. I spent 2 hours searching for one on my living room floor after dropping it. Amazingly, it managed to bounce into the kitchen but that's still 2 hours I want back.
In short, buy if you aren'/t 100% happy with clipless but want oodles of grip and a rock solid construction. And to top it all off, they are made in the UK, I think..."

Quality and effective
Pros: Attractive, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality
"Fitted these pedals to my bike and wow what a difference compared to the plastic ones that came with the bike.
These have like little pegs sticking up all over the pedal which your foot really gets stuck into yet with a light pull your feel come off if need be.
Totally confidence enspiring these, I couldnt go off road as effective without them so there highly recommended :)"

Pros: Rugged
"I got these pedals soon after I got my bike. I found myself slipping off the old pedals anytime my shoes got wet. Im not quite brave or skilled enough to get clip-in pedals yet. These DMRs are great. The difference in grip is amazing. You feel like you are never going to loose your footing on them. Wear shin-pads of some sort though."

Competition Winner!

Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Durable, Great Value, Rugged, Versatile
Cons: not enough grease
"What can i say other than great product from DMR.
only downside is the grease - there is no way the supplied amount is enough and i needed to put a lot more in than they supply so i mad to mix castrol grease in there as well.
they need greasing BEFORE use - they dont come pre greased.
Do wear leg protection when using a bike with them as they will cut you to ribbons with the spikes if you have an "off" where the pedal slips up your leg. There is no way though that your feet will slide off these in use as the grip is incredible."

best flats avalible (except v12s)
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged
"i must have had my set of v8s for almost 3 years now, i have brushed aluminium ones because i no the paint chips off. overall they have been great, i have lost the occasional pin but you can get a set of 12 spare for a few pounds so no biggy. they are pretty solid, i have smashed mine of many rocks and always you always have a good amount of grip. they also look very good and dont clog with mud like some flats.
overall very good."

Good quality and price
Pros: Great Value, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable
Cons: Poor Fit
"Bought these pedals for a road bike. Because of a disability I have a specific problem with clipping in and thought these offered a fair level of sure footed grip. I wasn't dissapointed. Would have given them all 5 stars, but like the majority of budget pedals, needed adjusting and greasing out of the box. Why can't they set them up properly at the factory? Not a problem to the mildly competent, but could put some buyers off. The supplied greasing syringe is a bit of a gimmick."

A sold pair of pedals
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality, Good Fit
"Got these pedals after destroying my last pair in a crash. They were easy to install with nice clean threads. The width of the platform accommodates for wide skate style shoes and in the wet the grip on the sole of the shoe is fantastic."

Cómodos y fiables
Pros: buen precio, Atractivo, Cómodo, Alta calidad, Resistente, Buen ajuste
"Muy buenos pedales, son grandes y permiten una posición cómoda. No resbalan ya que tienen muy buena superficie de agarre.
Hay que hacerles un pequeño mantenimiento de vez en cuando poniéndole grasa a través del engrasador que llevan. Son algo pesados, pero para un uso normal so muy buenos.

Great pedals
Pros: Rugged, High Quality
"The DMR V8 Flat Pedals purchased arrived promptly, with the package in good condition.
I purchased these to replace basic pedals on my MTB (I don't like toe clips or cleats) and was amazed how they keep my feet from slipping even in heavy rain!
Overall excellent buy"

Takes me back to my old BMX days
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Rugged
Cons: have to grease them myself
"I bought these to go on my new full susser, as I had keo's on my hardtail and roadbike. and didn't want to be locked in if I go over the bars. been there done that a few times !
All I can say is phenomenal amounts of grip, nearly as much as my keo's, but with a lift of the leg our out.
I went for the fluo green to match my camber and they're bright!
The design is like what I had on my old BMX as a kid. not looking forward to getting pedal rash again though...
Bad point, having to grease them myself, but hey... i'd just built up the bike, so this was't an issue.
All in all a good pedal. oh and they're sturdy too."

Why did I wait?
"I've been toying with the idea of clips for my MTB for a while, but struggled to make the leap... so these were suggested as a good compromise.
They're great! My feet no longer slip off the pedals but you retain the freedom for those tricky moments when you want to put a foot down."

Very Grippy
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, Rugged, High Quality, Lightweight, loads of colours available
"I've had these a while now and I've found them to be a great platform for cycling in slippery and muddy conditions.
I got them to replace my standard pedals on my Hardrock Disc and they're a much more secure place to have your feet planted.
Once you've initially greased them up with the supplied syringe you're good to go; they are nice and smooth turning and I've not had to do anything to them since I bought them months back.
My only word of warning is that the studs are very grippy, and as such they will grip anything they get the chance to including shins/calfs which can be on the painful side!
All in all, a decent solid platform for a fair price."

Pros: Great Value
"Budget items- reflected in slightly higher weight than much more expensive pedals , but appear to have quality and they grip well. Value for money.
Grease syringe supplied confounds me somewhat, surely to get the grease to the bearings they should have supplied grease nipples and a grease gun? I'll run oil in every now and then to keep the bearings sweet. Somebody please say this erroneous logic.
