"Superb tyres both on road and off road in dry conditions, the side tread disperses stones and flints on fast down hills so very stable. This is my third set, i used the last set on a 100km road ride and they were fast. Only issue is they tend to break down before the tread goes so when you start getting punctures, through them away, this won't be for many miles and as they are cheap, most can afford it."

It's not nobbly
Pros: Great Value, Good Fit
"i've been riding to work on nobblys and wanted to try something different without going full on slick. So far they've been ok, tram lined abit to start with but that seems to have lessened now and i have to remember not to lock up now as they squeal really bad! Previous reviewer said he knocked loads of time off his commute, i haven't seen this but i did get them at xmas when i ate loads and got fat so that may be the problem. Big plus is they were cheap in the sale."

Great Product, Puncture resistant, good grip.

"I have been running these tyres both off and on road for the last 250 miles and they have been great. They were easy to fit on my rims and have a much reduced rolling resistance on tarmac, compared to the Kenda 'Knobbies' I was running previously. Grip is good for winter training on road and the compound that these tyres are made of gives reasonable grip off road. A good balance."

A great commuter tyre
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Versatile
"Bought this tyre as and addition to my knobbly's when I got my bike. Purely for the commute along a canal toepath of mixed terrain. I even recently used it in the dales and on my MTB tour of Montenegro on loose gravels and some rough aggregate. Knotched up over 300km in Montenegro without a puncture and has knocked several minutes off my ten mile commute.
Great grip and suitable for a greater range of surfaces thn you would think - it was even capable of getting me up grassy hills in the dales and hasn't dissapointed yet.
If you're looking for a cheap semi slick that provides confidence in cornering (even in the wet) this is your solution."

Good and a little bit of bad
Pros: Versatile, good rolling speed
Cons: bit soft for some of the hardcore trails
"Had this tyre for about 2 weeks now and very impressed with the rolling speed of it on road, I cycle 10 miles to work every day on road but I also like to hit the trails at the weekends so was looking for a tyre that was capable of doing both, this seem the perfect tyre for the job. I did however manage to get a puncture in the first week from a rather nasty thorn, I'm putting this down to a one off as I haven't had any problems since."

"trails and road are handled well by these, can commute on them and go for a blast down gravel trails. Not so good if really muddy but then they are fast on the road."

"a great tyre bought these to ride trails and road and they offer little rolling resistance on the road i knocked 3 mins off my 5.0 mile journey to work with these on . they also give good performance off road too"

Great Semi Slicks

"Bought these for my wife's bike after she struggled to cycle on her old knobbly tyres. Cut her last joureny time in half -so she was well impressed. I've had these on my bike for a good couple of thousand miles now and still going strong - no punctures.
Only semi-slick I've ever bought, don't think I'll buy any other."

I bought these for my hardtail for the sole purpose of undertaking the Coats 2 Coast.
They coped brilliantly on the tarmac - very little rolling resistance , and provided good grip on the off road sections.
It did rain (alot) and the tyres were adequate on the off road, but they are semis after all.
In summary a great all round tyre that saw me across the UK without incident (and did I mention the value for money ??)."

Great Value tyre

"I mainly bought this tyre for my very short commute to school (2.5km each way)
It gets the job done very well on the road but when its wet it attracts a lot of dirt and rocks but they are easily removed when u lift the front up and bounce on the bike. (caused by the tread pattern)
It probably wouldn't recommend this tyre for absolute off road as you probably will need a better tread and a wider width"

Great summer tyres
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Rugged, High Quality, resist punctures
Cons: tricky to fit
"Have just bought my second pair of these - the last ones were still going OK after maybe 7 years but the sidewall was finally perishing.
They're a brilliant UK summer tyre, dealing well with grass and all hard-packed surfaces and even coping OK with light mud after summer rain. They seem pretty resistant to flats, too.
As you'd expect from a semi-slick, they're not cut out for heavy mud, sand etc, and I've found they can get a bit floaty over deep shingle. They're perfectly stable on gravel and other loose stone though.
It might be the tyre's wire bead or maybe it's my rims, but I had problems getting them to mount evenly. Make a 50/50 mix of water and washing up liquid and slop a little around the inside of the wheel rim before you fit the tyre. Once you inflate above 30psi it should all shift into shape nicely."
