"I was very happy with my purchase of this cable lock as it I was quite capable to lock up both my wife and own mountain bikes to our trailer going through both wheels.
As we were on holiday this cable was the most suitable item to lock our prized rides to a very cumbersome object."

Not had my bike nicked...

"I use this in combination with a kryptonite d lock. It's plenty long enough to loop through the front wheel and round whatever you're securing the bike to. I fold it and attach it to the side of my rucksack for transportation during my commute, which is fine. Just be aware that you will need something to attach it to for transportation as it is just a four foot cable."

"We bought this to lock our children's bikes up whilst stored outdoors. The length is great, we manage to lock 4 children's bikes up with it. All that is needed to go with it is a good padlock."

"Previously bought the 4ft cable with the D Lock package - as use to lock bikes in my garage I really needed a longer cable to get better security. This fits the bill - in fact 4ft sounds long but by the time you've wrapped the cable round a bit of bike and a fixed object there's not a lot left - the extra 3ft makes all the difference and if it's too long all you need to do is make another small loop
Can't comment on security and in reality hope never have to put it to the test - it is clearly not as strong as the D Lock so always use the D Lock as the primary security (e.g. frame) and the cable as additional (e.g. for the wheels)
It's not that heavy either but looks well made"

"This is my second purchase of this companies cable
products the original came with a d-lock both have and are still giving good service after 6 years. The new cable is great for securing two bikes while transporting on a rear car rack, or when at destination, long enough to fit through wheels of both bikes, coating on cable ensures no scratches to paintwork, when not in use cable coils neatly for storage."

"This is a very good product good for locking up expensive wheel sets along with a d-lock, as the title says it does exactly what it says, 7 feet is maybe too long sometimes, I just wrap it round a couple of times."

"After purchasing the longer cable, I wonder if it may be abit too long but at least I'll never be kept "short" when trying to secure my front wheel. As with all cables (unarmoured) I suspect a pair of decent bolt cutters would likely make a small meal but it does deter those less serious types.
The cable itself is well housed in thick plastic coating (won't damage your bike) and the bright orange cable ends screem "leave me alone" (or maybe anything but bolt cutters!).
A good partnder to a heavy duty d-lock."

"Doesn't have the "memory" issues other cables I have used seem to have that make running the cable through wheels etc difficult.
Surprisingly light for it's size. Coating material prevents marking on bike and appears to be very durable.
Works very well with D lock."

Cons: as yet not tested for theft resistance, you have to add a lock !!!
"I I wanted a long lockable cable to secure my £300 canoe beneath my boat in a boat park . This cable was small enough ton fit through the drain holes and be attached to itself without damaging the canoe. Its length at approx 7 ft makes it useful to attach more canoes or secure other items.
I was so pleased with it that i laso bought one to secure my motor cycle. its plastic casing protects it and the surfaces of the bike and is long enough to secutre to most fixed objects and go around both wheels and too
all in all an excellent product so i purchased two more.. as i have so many interests from biking , sailing ,canoeing motorcycling.
Excellent and quick service from Wiggle who were also the cheapest too"

"i've got nothing but praise for this cable - even though it doesn't really do much - then again - it does keep your pride and joy safe - or at least safer.

"I bought this to use in conjunction with a d-lock for securing the wheels. It's much longer than required - the 4ft cable would probably be a better bet. This would suit multiple bikes.
I don't think it would be a deterrent against the professional bike thief but it would keel an opportunist at bay."

"Excellent piece of kit - makes securing the bike really easy and is a sturdy piece of kit. I would order shorter cable next time though as this can leave excess cable hanging down if the object you're securing the bike to is small in diameter. (i.e. railing)
This one is more than long enough to secure multiple biles together."
