"This kit gives you everything you need to do the job of replacing break cables front and rear. You will need a set of cable cutters to do the job and a set of allen keys but other than that it's a piece of cake.
I have had a set of these on my bike for 4 years and decided to replace with the same product. The reason they need replaced is due to road grime and excessive ware inside the housings which causes the breaks to feel sticky.
After replacing the outer and the inner you will find your breaks feel like new again."

"These cables are great.

My only criticism is that the instructions are not brilliant. The cable housing is not easy to cut properly and anyone buying these who has never cabeled before should do a bit of googling to see how best to do it.

Other than that, they work great"

Makes your brakes work!

"Most of the time i wouldn't buy Dura Ace over Ultegra or 105 because the small weight difference or extra blinginess aren't worth the price hike as a mostly non competitive rider.

Cables are a bit different though, they really do work better, in the sense of smoother, for longer. Cables rarely break (pun intended!) they gradually gain stiction as they wear untill they stick in use and need replacing. On past and current experience Dura Ace last longer before this happens especially if you've a bike with a convoluted cable run.

Worth the little extra in my opinion."

"I picked this cable and housing set up for my commuter. Do I need Dura-Ace? No, but the price was close enough to regular cable/housing sets that I thought, "Why not?". Installation was a snap, and I am pleased to report that the cables do slide very easily through the housing, more so than standard cables. I'm a little ashamed to say that I cut the housing specifically so that one can see the Dura-Ace logo just above the barrel adjusters on the brake callipers. Further, the grey colour looks sharp against the matte black frame. I'd definitely buy this set again."
