Continental Tube of Tubular Cement for Aluminium Rims
The aluminium rim cement for tubulars, in the typical continental yellow packaging, has proven itself for decades. Generations of racing cyclists and mechanics rely on this cement.
Maxiumum safety is acheived with high adhesive strength and good processability, the most important aspect of cemented tyres.
The classic bead guarantees a pefect fit and the application is conventional. However, processing differs entirely from that of carbon cement, so please always pay attention to the application information.

The best i have ever used

"Having been away from the sport some 30yrs & desiding to have another go. i now also find myself wanting to get back onto the track.
Instantly thoughts of a teenager sat in his bedroom trying to cement only the tub to the rim & not every thing in sight. Much to my mothers discust.
This was a breeze as there is no stringy glue hanging from a brush.

Good glue
Pros: Great Value, High Quality
"I have always used tape before but thought Id try glue. So far so good as it was easy to apply and is very sticky. Tape is cleaner and easier but this glue should last me a long time and is good value for money. Getting old glue off can be a hassle but some petrol on a rag can clean it off."

Stickier than a Baby Bogie!

"This stuff is sticky. Everything within a metre radius will get sticky. Make sure you know how to put a tub on before you use it - I watched three tutorial videos and still made a right mess. Good stuff, but one tube is a bit tight if you're using the three coats method.
Note the authentic grease under my thumbnail - never trust a reviewer with clean nails!"

"This is good stuff. Found it easy to put a thin layer on a rim previously used. Gripped well in all spots. Was not messy or stringy. Other glues have stringy ends. This was easy to keep tidy."

"I have just used this prduct to glue a modern tubular to a 70's Mavic Montlery rim the glue holds on perfect. Don't forget to clean the rim off with a brass wire buff in an angle grinder, I have found this works best."

Glued for life

"I bought the continental Tub cement as I bought the Continental Sprinter Gator Skin. They say that you should clean the rim but I only removed the loose bits and applied the new glue on the old. No problem. It was easy to apply, it dried quickly, it made no mess and I was able to mount the tyre quickly and easily. Actually, it was my first time and the glue made it really easy. I actually tried to mount the tyre first without glue for stretching (recommended) and it took 15 - 20 minutes. With the glue it took 2 minutes to get the tyre on. The tyre just sticked to it but you were still able to move it to get the tyre real straight. The tyre now holds very well and I had no problems or issues on the road so far."

"Probably the best tub cement available... Still quite messy though (arn't they always!). But does the job even though I sometimes ignore the instructions and just plaster one quick layer on the rim before putting on the tubular. I've never had a problem with the tub slipping, even after punctures (thankfully rare with tubs), removing the tub is still difficult as the one coat of cement is still very effective!"
