Wonderful choice
Pros: High Quality, Lightweight, Versatile
"It´s a wonderful choice. On the road it will give you a little more speed then a pure mountain bike tire, and will also offer a good grip, giving you more safety than a sleek tire. On the tack, it will work well enough to keep you confident and riding without problems."

Sound Purchase
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Rugged, Versatile
"I wanted some durable and grippy rubber for my spare bike, to get some road miles in while the weather was poor. My mud-pluggers have far too much rolling resistance and noisy, so had a look round for some suitable tyres. After much deliberation, I opted for these and as they were at an attractive price, decided to give them a try. No regrets so far - fitted a dream and perform equally so. They're versatile, as I have ventured off-road as well! They take to the rough-stuff - tracks etc with aplomb - haven't tried any mud yet - that would be pushing my luck! So, they do what they say and more - buy with confidence."

Very Good
Pros: High Quality, Lightweight, Versatile
"I bought these to replace a set of Kendra nevegal that came stock with my new bike. The difference in rolling resistance to the nevegal is shocking. Perceived effort is something a bit subjective and difficult to measure, but I'd say it feels like half or less of the effort I was doing with the Kendra. I use these mainly on road (though Irish roads are not that far off from mountain trails), but occasionally on mud and dirt roads and it behaves very well on all occasions. The tyres look quite different form the picture on the website, though that is not important. The groove on them is a lot lower than what it appears, which in my case is a good thing since I use them mostly on road. These are a great way to transform a mountain bike into a general purpose bike. I can not vouch for their durability as I had them for a week and did around 30km only on them. So far no punctures, but it's too soon to evaluate their performance on that aspect."

New Treads
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality
"Just got back into cycling after watching an inspirational Tour de France and of course the ever rising price of petrol! But my bike needed new tyres and these are excellent. I mainly ride on the road and they grip well in whatever weather condition and give a smoother ride than the off road tyres I replaced."

Good all round tyre
Pros: Great Value, Versatile
"Purchased these tyres to put on my MTB so it would be better suited to some road use and so far seems fine much less resistance and much better rolling resistance on the road so you do not have to put so much energy in to the peddles to get some where"

Really Really Really Disappointed
Pros: Lightweight, inexpensive
Cons: Low Quality, poor tyre wall
"Firstly let me say I don't consider myself to be a pro-cyclist & only use my bike for commuting to & from work (25 mile round trip). So you can imagine my disappointment after only 1 month of use & approx 500 miles to have gained 2 puntures already.
I mainly cycle on roads & towpaths & so I felt this would be nothing to strenuous for a tyre with some good reviews already!!!
Okay fair enough I hear you say "it can happen to anyone at anypoint", but that doesn't excuse the tyrewall shreading already!!!!
Whilst I concede that tha ride was very smooth both on & off-road leading to quicker journey times, I can't recomend this to anyone, not when the tyre wall doesn't stand up to what I consider to be average terrain!
Oh well, better start my tyre search all over again ...."

Good, so far
Pros: Great Value, Versatile
"Much better on tarmac than the fat knobbly tires they replaced, on no worse off-road. I haven't tried them on any really challenging surfaces yet, but they are good on tracks and trails."

reduced resistance
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality, Good Fit
"just fitted to tandem as most of the use is on metalled roads with only occasional forrest trails, amazing difference - must less resistance and improved control. great buy!"

"This tyres enhanced the look of the bike, especially the white walls. The tread pattern is a good compromise between off road and on road."

Continental Town And Country Semi Slick MTB Tyre
"I bought these to replace the Vuelta knobbly MTB tyres that came with my bike years ago. They were worn and lookin a little tyred ;o) I mostly ride on canal towpaths with 3 or 4 miles of road at either end, mostly working off my choclit habit. I live in South Wales, so apart from the towpath I'm either going up or down a chuffin big hill and the old tyres often wandered at speed on downhill road sections and didnt feel very inspiring when cornering on tarmac so the Conti Town & Country looked ideal for my typical riding activities. The Contis instantly felt better on road, much more stable, very quiet and much more secure on road with less rolling resistance than I expected. On the mixed gravel/tarmac/dirt surface on the canal paths these tyres are great, less rolling resistance than the old knobblies and again they feel very secure. plenty of grip on gravel, wet grass and the usual grott found on canal paths. No punctures yet, the tread band seems pretty tough. No fit or quality issues. I haven't used them for any serious off road or wet mud yet and to be honest, I'm not expecting them to be as good as 'proper' knobblies but they suit my needs perfectly so 10/10 from me."

Town & Country
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Good Fit
"A good set of MTB tyres which work well on hard surfaces. With the dry weather I've not had a chance to try them out in the wet."

Great Tyres for the Road
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable
"I've had my GT Mountain bike for over 10 years now and I have bought slick tyres in the past but these fellas are the bees knees!
Very smooth rolling and as an added bonus they look natural for the bike.
Highly recommend these tyres."

A useful mod
Pros: High Quality, Versatile
"These tyres have transformed a recently-purchased MTB into a useful everyday hybrid, which can still be used in the forest at weekends. Only a really wet day would require full off-road tyres to be re-fitted."

Good rollers
"My all time favourite semi-slick MTB tyre is the Vrederstein Spider. Excellent rollers and very puncture resistant, but guess what, Vrederstein stopped making them.
So, I bought a set of these. They roll as well as the Spiders and have a rounder profile. I've had a number of punctures and would say they're not as puncture resistant as the Spider, but overall, I'm happy to stick with them until someone points me in the direction of a better tyre."

Commuting Speed Freak
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Rugged
"Replaced a set of worn Tiogas with the Continentals and I cannot believe how much faster the bike is...... they have cut time off my normal routes around Baildon Moor. And on the road they are fantastic on both wet and dry. Need a pair of hard wearing commuting tyres ? - buy these !"

Slippery when wet
Pros: Durable, Great Value
Cons: not good on mud
"Well to be precise when muddy! These are a great set to have on if you are like me, commute during the week and leisure cycle of the weekend. I normal stick to roads and towpaths but the other week I decided to take a short cut across a field, a very muddy field! Big mistake, I was slipping all over the place and had very little traction.
Just remember these are very good in most conditions and I recommend them for roads and towpaths :)"

Pros: Durable, Versatile, Good Fit
"Good tyre to fit to a mountain bike if you are mainly doing road work. 10% improvement in journey time over normal mountain bike tyre. The profile presents the smooth surface as the main point of contact and gives for an easier and quieter ride. Still retains a chunky mountain bike look, but without the nobbly bits!"
