FSA Platinum Pro ISIS Bottom Bracket
Forged hollow chromoly spindle for ISIS Drive, with integrated bearing design. Cold forged aluminium cups, composite anti-creak sleeve, new improved external water seals and chromoly self-extracting crank bolts (M-15).

Excellent value

"Fitted this to my Cannondale Jeykll 900 at the beginning of August. The build quality seemed excellent, fitted fine. Road a little tight to start with but loosened off after the first few rides. Had to retighten the cranks once after the first ride (seem to remember this is fairly normal). Has performed flawlessly since. Definitely recommended."

The best the isis
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Rugged
"Isis may be outfased from the marked, nonetheless it is a BB design that works (until the bearings are gone). I've used 5 or 5 Isis BBs over the years and this is by far the best. Excellent quality and durability."

"Works well, easily fitted. Initially a bit stiff, but soon loosened off after a few rides, not been out in the rain yet, so don't know how water resistant, but seals look to be more than adequate."

High quality and smooth pedaling

"My BB started making that sound that I knew meant I'd soon need a new one. Looked around and settled on this one. Glad I did. Swapping out the old BB for this one was easy. I was very pleased with the difference in pedaling. This BB is smooth and feels like it has a lot less pedaling resistance than the previous one (before it went bad). Quality seems very good. I've had it in for a few months already and despite riding in lots of rain, it is giving me no problems."

Looks good - shame it's hidden in the frame!

"Bought this to replace a tired and abused FSA Platinum Standard BB, thought the difference in cost was negliable. The PRO looks and feels a more solid bit of kit.
Too early to comment on it's durability, but only took a couple of short rides to nicely loosen up.
Did need to adjust the front gear mech slightly as the crank seemed to align a couple of mm further out from the frame, but no major issues."

Great BB

"After a bit of searching I finally decided on the correct size went for the 113mm for my Trek 69er and it fits perfectly. Sits nicely in frame, very easy to install with my standard BB tool. BB seemed a little stiff to start with but after a couple of short rides it has loosened up and spins smoothly now. Not used it for long enough to comment on the expected lifespan but the item did look a quality piece of kit. Easy to read manual and comes supplied with crank bolts and an end cap for your crank extractor tool. Overall works well and looks like a top quality item. My last isis BB lasted three years of everyday commuting before giving up and it was just a cheapo one so hopefully this will exceed that."

"Good looking piece of kit, all goes together nicely on the bike and works perfectly for 18 months or so, until the bearings give up the ghost - fairly suddenly in my case. I recon they should last longer but I've tried some other brands and they lasted about the same length of time."

"My old BB was well and truly dead after 41,000km so I bought this based on FSA's reputation.
My bike is a bit dodgey but this was super easy to install and after a few hundred km's it is all good with little drag.
The shimano BB tool interface is great meaning I only need one BB tool for my MTB and my Road bike now. It also comes with thread locker and good instructions for a novice.
It also looks good."

"My brother managed to shear the factory bottom bracket on his GT clean in half while out on a ride (not the best situation to be in). This was the replacement I chose. It's a good quality item, light weight and reasonably priced. It also comes with pedal arm bolts and a shim for using a standard pedal arm puller which is a nice touch."

"This is the second of this model FSA bottom bracket I have used on our various MTB and Cyclocross bikes. The first one outlasted another ISIS bracket in the same race winning MTB which cost over twice as much. Well made and finished with great packaging and instructions. Only 3 stars for quality as no ISIS BBs last that well."
