Loose their stick after a while
Pros: Attractive
Cons: Low Quality, Wears Out Easily
"They look great when first put on, however mine soon lost their stick after a few washes. The chainstay protector still seems to be fine, but the smaller patches i have long since replaced with clear and more adhesive ones. This is because they also start to fray with cable rub and look pretty grim. I suppose it shows they do their job but if i had left them on any longer the cable would have worn down to the frame!"

You do need a good scrub and degreasing before, but once it's on, it seems very difficult to move.

The long chain-stay protector is flexible enough to get around my old focus variado chain-stay, which is a statement on its own!
The two little extra patches went on my head tube to protect against cable scratches, and they'll do a much better job than the usual thin plastic stickers one can find around.
It's thicker than some other products, so the weight chasers might not like that, but it's a very good buy!"

"Clean the frame thoroughly first, and wear gloves as well because the adhesive will pick up anything as its so sticky.
make sure you plan on where you are going to stick it as its not quite long enough to cover the whole frame from the chain, but once its on it will take ALOT of abuse. It also comes with 2 smaller patches to make up the lack of size. Excellent purchase"

"This chainstay protector is an excellent addition to my new bike, it stuck really well to the frame (i placed it on a warm radiator for 10 mins before applying to make it a little easier to manipulate) and it also looks great. The material is thick enough to protect the frame and stop and chain slap noise and it seems to be made from durable materials. The only downside is the length, I ended up having to use the chainstay protector and the 2 patches to cover the length of my chainstay. This did not bother me as I hadn't intended to use them anywhere else on my bike and even though there are 3 patches in total covering the chain stay it still looks great. I'd definitely buy this item again and would recommend it to anyone!"

"These work great, so far. I used them for the cable rub on my carbon Orbea. Easy to fit, very adhesive, although would definitely recommend a clean and dry bike.
They've been on for a month or so now and they look like the day they were stuck on. i've done easily over 200km in rain and shine and so far so good!"

"Bought this, primarily for the chainstay protector, to put on a MTB frame I had resprayed. It went on easily and held on! No peeling up or buckles. The leather is thick enough to do its job well but doesn't ruin the aesthetic like a big neoprene job. Good enough for light to medium use (or abuse) but not if you're a real hard core chain slapper.

"This is a great, high quality chain stay protector. The lizard skin protector is very easy to put on, looks good and so far has not come unstuck around the edges (unlike other protectors I've tried in the past!). It is quite thick (which is not a problem in my opinion), is a good length and is easy to manipulate around angular frames such as mine. Highly recommended."
