somebody was very smart a bit to smart
Pros: a must on a tour
Cons: if you order one you get only hafe of it
"The sram look is a must and safet my tour a couple of times. But on thing is a no go from Wiggle if you see the Picture, you order without reading the details, and you get only half of the thing. because is writen you have to order two to get one working thing. My mistake! it is a bit like seeing a shoe odering it and only get the left one"

Great Item
Pros: Versatile, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"These little things are absolutely great. I live firmly in the " take your chain off to clean " camp and wouldn't be without them. Taking the chain on and off is a breeze but they don't come undone when you don't want them to either.I have never had a failure but when you undo the chain be careful a link doesn't fling itself into the garden never to be seen again! I have had this happen and am glad I've had a spare pin to replace it. Can't recommend these enough, only wish they made 10 speed ones that unlock as well as I now have one 10 speed as well as two 9 speed bikes. They seem to work as well on Shimano chains as they do on Sram - I have both XTR and pg 980 chains and have had no problems with either."

Useful for that emergency trailside snap
"Pretty annoying having your chain snap on a ride. These are like gold when that happens, very lightweight, takes up no room in a saddlebag and are really easy to fit, worth it if you've got sram chain."

Spare Connector
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"I purchased this spare link the carry for one of those just in case situations. two days after arriving one of those days arrived. the link fitted perfectly and enabled me to continue riding the next 40kms to get home. A real time and weight saver. Well worth the investment and far easier than carrying a whole chain."

quick as
Pros: Good Fit
"How long does it take to repair a snapped chain when you are out on a ride in the middle of the bush? Well, with the Sram connector pin, it should only take a couple of minutes. I have used them many times and they are the quickest system I've come across. The Shimano pin also works well, but it takes me a longer to use. On the down side, one of the Sram pins I used snapped loose on my last ride and had to be replaced."

Pros: Durable, Rugged, High Quality, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"Carried these links for years and they have salvaged several good days out when chains have been mangled. Even if the trip has to be cut short with the short chain its better to pedal to the car park than push it - buy some but dont like the 1/2 link pricing scam though."
