Always get threaded
Pros: High Quality
"Being a bit lazy I tend to use CO2 for quick fixes on the road. In terms of cartridges these are great but I think you can get away with a smaller size for road tyres and still get up to a decent 100 psi+ pressure.
In my experience threaded cartridges are much better than the non-threaded and worth the extra few pennies.
I'd also buy a bigger pack and keep a stock."

Useful in times of need.
Pros: Durable, Rugged, High Quality, Lightweight, Versatile, useful
"Very useful tool in getting a good, high, pressure that can be ridden fast, and in a hurry. Some people say these are costly but in three years I've only gone through 2 cartridges (I may jinx that) but for the sheer ease of use, light and small nature of them, I don't see the need to wrestle with a small pump. (I still carry a small pump to get some pressure in the tyre then use this to get up to around 120psi)
Take care though as the cartridges go very cold, and frost over can quite easily get your hand frozen to them!"

Better than a mini-pump
Pros: easy to use
Cons: Expensive
"Does the job well in no time but once opened cartridges need to be used up fairly soon as they start leaking"

Okay, but not enough for a tub
Pros: High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: not big enough for a tubular tyre
"These cartridges are really light and fit perfectly with the same brand nozzle, making them a good lightweight companion for racing, but you'd need two to inflate properly a tubular tyre to race on. I had a flat in a race a few months back and one new cartridge wasn't enough to get the tub hard enough to race at 160psi It would be perfectly fine for a 120psi inner tube + clincher though."

Incompatible with my adaptor
"When purchasing spares I couldn't see the Lezyne pack I wanted so got these on the principle that they're both 16g cartridges..
However, the GI one didn't work very well in my Lezyne inflator - gas first reluctant to come out then a little cloud of freezing CO2 in the living room - clearly the wrong side of the valve for the CO2! Fortunately it was just a test run...
Looking more closely, even though the cartridge is the same size, the GI screw thread is _slightly_ wider at the business end. So it's probably fine with GI inflators but I know now not to mix brands between inflator and cartridge."

quality original replacement
Pros: High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: for high psi take a pump as well
""The usual story - halfway round a 50 mile solo training ride just as the rain started I had the first puncture in the rear wheel on my new bike. Well I say puncture, on removing the tube it turned out nothing had penetrated the tyre (fortezza tricomp - great tyres) but to my surprise a previous badly fixed puncture repair had failed ! I say surprise because it was the first time I had even removed a wheel on an expensive brand new bike. Do bike shops put old repaired tubes into new bikes? I should add the bike was not purchased from wiggle but perhaps it should have been! Prior to this I had always carried a mini hand pump but now I only had my microflate nano CO2 inflator with me. I had left this inflator in my small saddle bag with the instructions for use and my other essential tools since purchasing several months before and almost forgot it was there - it is so small and light. Needless to say the paper instructions were now wet and dirty so I set about screwing the CO2 cyclinder to the inflator head attached it to my newly fitted continental tube and in a second or two it was inflated. It really is very easy to use - although it does get instantly very cold during use so best handle with gloves. My only concearn was it did not reach my usual psi of 140 in fact managed as i later discovered about 90 otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. Definately recommend as an easy to carry piece of your essential tool kit. I used all the one 16gram CO2 cylinder on one repair so now I carry 2 cylinders.""

It's obvious!
"What's to say? They're cartridges, they're threaded, they fit the nano pump. As such they're great. They are very useful to have as once you've used the one that came with the pump it can't be used again so these prevent me having to carry my time trial bike back to HQ after I've had a 2nd p*n*t*r*!!!!"

Neat idea
Pros: Great Value, Versatile
"I had to use the previuos CO2 I had, screw it in, pump it up, ride away....great idea, quick....only downside is if you are competing overseas..you can't take on a plane!"
