"I bought this as a replacement bracket for my LD-1000 light. This bracket fits the clamp and holds the light in place just as well as the original one. So far after a few rides the bracket has held the light in place with no sign of it falling off."

Cateye Lamp Bracket
Pros: Durable, Adjustable, practical

"What can I say ? It's only a lamp bracket and not a complete one at that. The fact remains that we live in a world where, if something breaks, we are all too often obliged to replace the whole unit. Thus it is refreshing to be able to go online and find exactly the part needed and NOT have to pay for more. Bravo Wiggle for stocking it ... and Cateye for making it available. This bracket is tough - it took a collision to break it. It is easy to fit - minutes with screwdriver. The alignment is easy with care although the vertical adjustment is in small 'clicks' and not infinitely variable. Once screwed tight it stays put. I found the fitting rather snug for the LD1100 I use but not impossibly so. All in all a good buy."

Does its job

"I used this as a fitting on my second bike for my LD1100 rear light. Much cheaper than a second light and I was getting bored swapping the fitting between bikes.
It is a shame that you have to buy the clamp separately. I think that the price is more suitable for the bracket and clamp together."

"...make sure it's only the bracket you need. I made the mistake of only buying the bracket and then I needed to buy the Cateye Rear Light Clamp too, oops. Other than that perfect!"

"bought these to go with the seat stay brackets as i wasn't keen on the ones supplied, good fit and sturdy, only snag was when i hit a large pot hole and it was knocked out but i also ended up with a buckled wheel so not marking it down for that, anyway re ordered another light and made sure it won't happen again by fitting cable ties round the bracket to hold it more secure"

"There are few alternatives which is why I bought this product to replace the mount for my bicycle light which was stolen with my previous bike.
The item is genuine cateye but definitely not as good as the older originals sold with the lights.
The bracket is quite tight but this seems to be easing with time."
