Lightweight and do the job
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Good Fit, Great Value, Lightweight
"Good value set of lightweight mud guards that keep a good proportion of the mud off. The rear guard makes a huge difference to back splatter, though obviously some does get thrown about, depending on the depth of the mud/water you're going through. Easy to fit and adjust to the right height - slightly closer to the wheel gives the best amount of protection and also reduces the chances of kicking the guard when getting on or off.
The front mudguard helps keep the majority out of your face or up the middle of your body, though your legs will still get a decent soaking if your going fast or the water's deep. It's fine to fit on my bike but if your cables run on your bottom tube, like my brother's bike, the front guard can't be fitted. Easily fitted though with silicone grippers looping the tube and clipping onto the guard - does move up and down a little after time but very easy to re-adjust.
Overall and good set of guards for the price."

Great product
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"I bought these prior to a weekend mountain biking in North Wales following the very wet weather and they didn't disappoint - kept my bottom and back clean and dry, in contrast to friends riding without guards. I don't know why I didn't buy them sooner.
They're pretty sleak and the black ones look good on my black bike. Very easy to mount and seem reasonable durably. On my bike I was able to mount the rear guard on the frame (just below the seat post quick release), rather than the seatpost - this means the guard is closer to the wheel and therefore stops more mud being thrown up. I can see that if you have to mount on the seat post , and allow enough room to lower the seat post on steep decents, the guard wouldn't be quite as effective.
Overall I'd definately recommend."

Good front, poor rear.
"Front guard works well and stays in place. Rear guard has become loose where the bracket joins the guard itself. I may get around to sorting this by applying some silicone sealant around the join, but I prefer products to work correctly without any involvement from me."

Decent!
Pros: Great Value, Rugged, Lightweight, Good Fit
"Due to the unseasonal weather conditions recently and fed up with getting my back covered in crud I went for this set as a try out for mudguards. The instructions were minimal and said they fit in seconds, and even for a clumsy lump like me they both went on really quick. The first ride out in wet conditions proved that both do their job to a good degree, my kit was certainly a lot less muddy on one particularly wet morning so really pleased. I have hopefully "retired" the rear guard for the summer now but will keep on the front one a while longer, it was usefully catching plenty of damp cut grass yesterday that would have more than likely ended up in my face and over my body!"

Excellent mudguards
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Good Fit
"Bought for my mountain bike so I would not get wet & muddy when cycling to pub, shops etc yet still enjoy having fun off-road. Perfect for the job and very easy to fit. Does not detract from the bike, robust and fairly effective in the rain. Very reasonable price so all in all a good buy."

Crud Race Pac Mudguard Set
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit, back wheel crudgauard is excellant
Cons: frame guard not a front wheel gaurd.
"Great Product! As name suggests, keeps crud from ones back and flying in your face from bikes front wheel, although I will comment that another front mud guard will defiantly be useful. Only loses rating because of this."

For off road
Pros: Durable, Rugged, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: front guard only stops some road water spray
"I brought this for a hybrid bike, the rear mudguard is great, however the jury is still out on the front guard which I didn't realise was for mountain biking as the front guard fits under the Down Tube and does not project over the front wheel. Seems to deflect most the road water away but at anything over 15kph you still get spray coming up off the front tyre."

A Real Clothes Saver
Pros: Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: rear guard makes attaching to repair stand a pain
"Was contemplating a ridiculously muddy South Downs Way trip and having just bought a brand new jacket that I didn't want to ruin with mud/spray and other nastiness, invested in this twin pack. Fitting took just a few minutes. On the day of the ride, I was spared the usual spray lines up my backpack thanks to the rear mudguard and my front tube remained relatively free of crud as did my face and shorts thanks to the front 'crud catcher'. Great product that I should have bought ages ago."

"Great product, fitted in minutes and really does stop the mud flying up onto you. Always nice to finish a trail ride and have a clean camelbag and rear while others are brown and wet!!!"

Lightweight and Sturdy
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"Very good set of mudguards from a Superb UK Brand, fit perfectly and keep me dry when using my MTB for commuting purposes, and it rains a lot here in Manchester so I guess I will be using them more often. Cheap as Chips and Next Day Delivery from Wiggle yet again. 11/10 Couldn't ask for more."

Fits everything, but nothing perfectly
Pros: Rugged, Lightweight, Versatile
Cons: Unadjustable, Low Quality, Poor Fit
"The rear guard fits easily onto the set post, but with all the brain power that cycling enthusiast have why is there this attraction for attaching everything to a seat post. Between the rear light, trail gator, wedge and now mud flap there is no room - surely there are ore creative designers out there to fit on the host of rear tubes around the rear wheels. The front fitting is laughable.
Once on, though and as long as nothing else need connecting to said seat post, it does what it says

Crd Race Pac Mudgaurds Review
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Adjustable, Lightweight
Cons: rear guard slips on seat post, fiddly fit
"I'm not normally a fan of having guards fitted to my bike but the daily commute demanded it! I'm now a convert. These are very light and actually look pretty good (mine are white). They were on sale when I got mine so at the price they were excellent value.
The only criticisms I could make is that it is a bit fiddly fitting the guard to the down tube (you need some fine pliers) and the rubber shim provided didn't fit on my seat post, which it should have done. The rubber shim might have prevented the guard from slipping on the post so this is a little annoying and if you have a carbon seat post could be a concern if you are worried about over-tightening!"
