The best alluminium seatpost
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Durable, High Quality
"This is, in my honest opinion, the best seat post ever made. May be some Syncros or Ringlé was like this one, but unfortunately they are no longer available. In Italy we like Thomson seat posts and stems too: they are perfect for the best alluminum frames like Klein and Cannondale, but I love them also with titanium frame. The building quality is at the top, the seat post is stiffness, and have a great look (the silver one is my favourite) with graphics laser logo. No problem with the saddle installation and the adjustement of the slope.
A thomson seat post is like diamond: E' PER SEMPRE!!!

expensive but top quality
Pros: Attractive, Durable, High Quality, Rugged
Cons: Expensive
"because of my size and frame I ride with alot of seat post exposed (all of a 400mm post) and as i am a heavy, powerful rider (i have broken a couple of cheap posts) i need something strong, That means heavy or expensive...
Although this post is pricey the machining and quality is fantastic, it's seriously light but i don't doubt that it is 40% stronger than the competition. A good investment if your a fat boy...

Great
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"Well manufactured seatpost with more options in terms of width / length than others. Easily adjustable with +/-degree measurement. Would benefit from measurement down the post, which it doesn't have.
Feels solid. Overall, very pleased."

Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"Actually i ve got no experience with seat posts till i was looking through to replace my trck bike seat post in the local shop ,there were alot brands sizes and prices, i first picked up a ritchey pro carbon and really want it the fact that its carbon and well branded,
having thoughts about it , I saw a a tube in a bag that says Thomson, it caught my eyes, ask the shop guy to take it down... It was LIGHTER thn the ritchey carbon , chose that instead and installed it to the trck bike, its cosmetics and features re quite simple and stright forward no Bull!! Its lovely
When i discovered Wiggle and build my road bike , thomson seat post was on my list .. Its awesome"

Pros: Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile
"I bought this seatpost as my brooks B17 kept tilting up on the single bolt seatpost I was using.
The Thomson fixed this problem immediately,(fore and aft adjusting bolts), have had it on my bike for several weeks now and the seat stays exactly where it should.
A very well designed seatpost with an excellent seat rail clamping system.
Am very happy with this product."

The only seatpost you'll ever need from now onward
Pros: Durable, Attractive, High Quality, Adjustable
"I wonder why I ever had any other seatposts before this one when I should have just gotten this first. Beautiful engineering and quality. If you're weight or budget conscious there are other seatposts to consider but for someone who wants to set, forget and never break, it'll probably not get any better."

Classy seatpost
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"Bought this to replace my carbon post to match my polished aluminium frame better and to go with my Thomson stem. Was very impressed when I first looked at it - quality all the way. I was a bit concerned that there wouldn't be enough set-back but it seems fine. Very sturdy seat mountings and quite easy to adjust angle and for/aft settings. The stem/post/collar combo has transformed my bike - looks so much more classy . I couldn't be haapier with my purchase - you want unbreakable good looks then buy this post."

Engineering excellence
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"This is the second Thomson setback seatpost I've bought, the first is on my DH bike. Well impressed with the quality of the workmanship as well as the overall appearance. My only complaint could be that it comes with steel bolts for the adjuster which will eventually rust so I've changed these to Ti. Given this is an expensive seatpost I think it's a little average and I would have been happy to pay the extra"

Last seatpost you'll ever buy.
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
"The title says it all: This is the last seatpost you'll ever buy . Works like it should, never let's you down. I've owned several Thomson seatposts, both setback and regular (on different bikes) and nowadays I don't even think twice about getting any other posts.
You can also get spare parts for the saddle clamp mechanism IF it ever fails, which is a plus. So yeah, get one!"

No Compromise Value
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight
"This is my third Thomson seat post and I doubt I will buy another brand if I can continue to get the size and set back I need with a Thomson. This post is not appreciably heavier than the Masterpiece, looks almost exactly the same and is equally well-made and adjustable. I believe Thomson posts are lighter than many carbon posts and Al is said to be less finicky to install. The Elite is superb value."

Not just a stick to put your saddle on
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"I finally did it.
Always wanted one.
I unwrapped it.
Held it in my hands.
I ran my hands over it for some time.
OK ,I admit that I kept it on my bedside table overnight.
Out in the dark next morning, off with the old one and on with the Thomson.
It sits just right in the frame.
The saddle thanks me for finally providing a worthy platform.
Sorry saddle that I took so long.
Perfect finish to my blinglespeed.
Perfect adjustment.
Looks top shelf.
Looks so good that I've moved my red LED to minimize disturbance to it's lines.
Should have got one years ago!

The best of Seatposts
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"If you're after the best seat post money can buy look no further. This thing is simple, strong, light and stylish, just simply superb engineering.
After having cracked two composite seat posts due to over tightening I moved to Thomson Elite. I am perfectly happy with all aspect of its look and, of course, performance.

Great seat post
Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight
Cons: Unattractive
"This is a light and durable post. I have ridden on carbon and alloy posts but this by far the best. Definitely recommend. Looks different but you end up in relatively the same position as an offset post."
