Abus Combiflex
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Great Value, Lightweight
"I am glad that I bought this handy little security device. It is small and light, so I have adopted the habit of carrying it with my spare tube and multitool everywhere I go. It appears to be well constructed and has highly visible and easy to operate digital locking system - you could see the numbers in dim light and operate the lock with cold hands. I presume that it wouldn't take more than a good pair of pliers to cut through the metal wire, but is probably sufficient to deter the opportunist thief during brief coffee stops."

Great lock for a low risk area
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: Poor Fit
"Let's face it, the pencil thin cable on this lock isn't going to deter any concerted effort. But don't let that put you off. If your bikes in a low risk area (communal bike store, somewhere public or covered by CCTV) then it's a real dandy of a lock. The casing makes it a dream to carry. Forget the nightmares of carrying bulky d-locks or cumbersome coils of cable, this little beauty fits in your pocket without any embarrasing bulges. The only issue I have with it is that it sometimes doesn't connect properly on locking, meaning you can just undo the lock again if your not careful. As long as you give it a precautionary tug before leaving to make sure it's secure then this isn't a problem. Heartily recommended."

Neat little accessory for coffee shop stops
Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: not adequate for high risk areas
"I bought this for my son, because he is too lazy to use a curly lock when he leaves his bike outside the shops. But tomorrow I'm taking it on my Sunday morning ride because it is so convenient. Yes, a 'tooled-up' thief could defeat it in a moment. But while at our coffee shop stop in the morning this little, pocket-sized lock will make sure nobody jumps on my bike and rides it away."

Handy little lock
Pros: Great Value, Lightweight, Versatile
"This is a great little lock, roughly the same size and weight as an iphone, so can either be stored in your saddle bag or in a pocket. When needed - pull the cable out one side, loop it through the bike and click it into the other side of the lock - couldn't be simpler. Will not deter the nutter bike thief with bolt cutters but this lock is best used when you're not going to be far from the bike for any lengthy period of time."

Compact, easy to use but not last word in security
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"After years of struggling to carry various different bike lock cables that wrap themselves around everything except what you want them to, this is a revelation. Fits in a pocket or can be locked onto the saddle rails and deploys in seconds. Select your own combination. Obviously, given the size of the actual steel cable, as other reviewers point out, this does not provide the unlitmate in bike security so can only give it 4 stars but for ease of use and short term security, you would be pushed to find better."

So So for the price
Pros: Adjustable, Lightweight
Cons: Expensive, Low Quality
"For the almost AU$30 cost there are better locks araound...doesn't even have a frame or seat mount. Made entirely of lightweight plastic, very disappointed."

Combination reset
Pros: Lightweight
"Lock works fine enough side. To reset the combination hold on the button on the right hand side continually while selecting your new combination, then press the other button as per instruction. The instructions that come with this are poor."

Light lock
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Lightweight
Cons: poor instuctions
"Does the job well enough, ideal for cate stops, but not the thing for long stops out of sight, instuctions were sparse, I found it quite tricky working out how to set it up"

Useful and compact
Pros: Adjustable, Lightweight, compact
"A small light compact combination lock. This is a minor precaution against theft, It will fit in a saddlebag and can be used to secure the bike if you need to nip off for a leak.
I would use it on a cheap bike or on a good one if you were somewhere in the vacinity."

Peace of mind
Pros: Adjustable, Lightweight
"With bike theft increasing the idea of leaving my beloved Madone out of sight at cafes during bike rides was ever more unacceptable. Equally lugging a huge lock round was not going to happen. Enter this Abus lock. Small enough to fit in a jersey pocket it is never going to step the determined bike thief but will prevent the opportunist from walking away with your pride and joy. Simple to set up and easy to use it ticks the boxes I bought it for and so far has been reliable in use. Could be seen as slightly expensive by some but if you're happy to leave a few grands worth of bike untethered and out of sight for the sake of £20 the best of British to you."

Effective little lock
Pros: Adjustable, Lightweight
"Needed a small compact lock just for those times I have to leave my bicycle outside a sandwich shop (sad but true).
Long enough cable to securely lock my bike.
Definately not a lock I would use if I was leaving my bike in a dodgy area or for long periods of time.
Suits my purposes."

Peace of mind when stopping for coffee
Pros: Lightweight, Versatile
Cons: bit large for what it houses
"This is the bike cable you need when out for the Saturday ride and you stop for coffee on the way back. It stops that opportunist theft when your back is turned for a couple of minutes. Cons - The housing seems a bit large for 90 cm of 2 mm cable. Setting the combination number is a bit of a fiddle, and the instructions are not very explicit - just very basic diagrams."

Perfect
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight
"Does it's job very well. Over all look is stylish and quality high. Given it's small portable size I'm sure a determined thief would be able to cut it off but an opertunist will certaintly be detered"

Perfect product
Pros: Great Value, Lightweight
"Small and lightweight, ideal for stopping at a shop for refreshments without having to worry about someone runnning off with your bike. This lock is not designed for heavy protection for long periods of time as a good set of cable cutters would go through it like a hot knife through butter. Use it for brief stops only, it's what it's designed for."

"OK for a coffee stop, if only to give you a (false) sense of security. Neat and nicely made and will at least deter an opportunist."

Does what it's meant for.
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"You should still keep your eyes on your bike, but this gives you more comfort around someone wandering off with it when you are having a coffee and a cake. Nice and light so you can put it in your jersey pocket."

A worthwhile purchase
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight, Versatile
"I bought this as a secondary back up lock for my my touring cycle, I use it in conjuction with a D type lock and use the Abus cable lock to secure my quick release front wheel. I also use the lock on it's own when I leave the bike unattended for short periods. It's not going to prevent the determined thief from stealing your bike but would deter the opportunist thief. The lock appears sturdy enough and the cable is thicker than other similar locks. It's also handy to carry around in your pocket. Recommended."
