"Only had to use this last week for first time. It had been sitting in my saddle bag and of all days to get my first puncture since Easter was on a cold and very wet London morning! So with new tube and tyre back on the moment of truth, would this little gizmo do the trick? Oh yes. It was very straigtforward and had the tube at a very good pressure in seconds.
Unfortunately, I didn't zip my bag up today and it popped out somewhere on the A219. Buying a new one asap as it was a lifesaver and is a very worthy item to carry around."

"Bought this because a decent pump was too big to carry round, Used it on a 700/28 c armourdillo on my sons fixie in workshop conditions. I used a threaded canister .Using the thumb test the tyre quickly went to what I thought was enough . I knew threaded canisters get very cold so I part screwed on the part of the unit for non threaded canisters as insulation from cold burn. I thought the nozzle froze onto the presta valve and could not remove it at first.It was enough for one tyre .Using a gauge I found 60psi and suspect on my 700/23 it will be similar or higher.and certainly enough to get me home ect.Iam pleased with the results of my test and think the non threaded canister is probably the best sort to use cheaper and safer."

"Very small and easy to carry on bike. Quick and easy to set up with CO2 cartridge and use. Main concern is the thread to engage the CO2 cyclinder is not as robst as I expected and can misalign and as a resukt you waste the contents of the CO2 cyclinder. So you need to carry a spare.
Inflates very quickly and you need to make sure you do not over inflate (as I did) on my first use and result in blowing the innner tube that had just been replaced. Would be better with a pressure gauge included.
Overall, a vey simple but easy and speedy device that I would recommend for the time saving factor."

"Having been out with groups this has been great to save cold hand and get those tyres to 120psi when hand pumps will never get there.

One comment would be this appear to be a full discharge, as the leaver locks in place and a full empty each time.

I had hoped that this would allow hand pumping and then limited use of the CO2."

"this will inflate a new inner tube to full in a couple of seconds - great when you're out on the trail! The gas canister holds enough for about 2 wheels, but Wiggle also does a box of 6 cartridges! Get that and keep a spare in your pack, just in case."

"I've used the Ultraflate Plus CO2 Tyre Inflator a couple of times now. Re-inflating a slow puncture on my back tyre and topping up my front on a long ride.

I'm still on my first cartridge.

It's small enough to fit in a saddle bag (along with a spare inner tube and tyre levers) and just so much quicker than using a pump. Handy when commuting and out riding with others so you don't hold people up longer than needed.

Yes, you will need to pay for more cannisters eventually, but you're paying for speed and convenience. And it does them both well.

In fact, seeing me use the pump has convinced the two people I was riding with at the time that they should get one too."
