Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Rugged, simple, reliable
Cons: Expensive, difficult to adjust
"While this stove may be a big commitment (depending on how much you pay for it) it is definitely worth the investment.
Included: small sauce pan, smallish sauce pan, frying pan, tea-kettle burner and flame regulator, wind shield, super-sturdy base, and the panhandler thingy. And get this: everything nests and is held together by a glorified toe-strap.
Everything is aluminum, and the pans are hard-anodized for semi-non-stickness (not as effective as teflon but good enough)
The stove uses denatured alcohol/methylated spirits/tenol/ethanol (that's unfit for consumption) that you can buy from target, walmart, hard-ware stores, Rei, most camping stores.
Trangia recommends the fuel NOT be left in the burner for more than two or three days, as it can oxidize the brass and produce sediment in the fuel, only put as much fuel in the burner as you will use for each meal. Also, Trangia recommends the fuel be stored in an HDPE container if stored for an extended period of time as the fuel will eventually oxidize aluminum and stainless steel and produce sediment in the fuel (make it dirty), and it can melt other plastics.
Don't worry about spilling the fuel, as alcohol is volatile and will evaporate SUPER-fast, just don't light the stove before it evaporates, that much should be obvious.
When igniting the stove be careful of the flame, as it is nearly invisible in sunlight. As you can see from the image however, when unrestricted the flame is VERY large and hot.
One thing to note about the flame regulator, it is kind of tricky to adjust because the rotating link is stiff, but it's easy to fix by bending it slightly.
If you lose any part of the stove, you don't have to re-buy the entire kit or find an old used one because Trangia sells each individual part. Plus the stove has a bunch of available accessories to make it super-versatile.
Definitely a worthwhile investment for bike-touring/camping/expeditions and the like. I can't say enough good things about this stove."

pretty awesome
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Rugged, Versatile, easy to use, maintenance free
Cons: not the lightest of cooksets, some sharp edges
"I was actually very impressed at the level of quality of this cookset. It all fits together perfectly. Maybe not the lightest cooking kit out there but for the price it is top notch. the flame is adjustable and on full heat is very effective. Found it to be quite economical with fuel too, small amount had it burning for over 15 minutes.
Only small niggle was that there were a few sharp, unfinished edges which need to be smoothed otherwise might cause a cut.
Otherwise this is an awesome bit of kit, a must have for any cycle tourist or adventurer in general!"

Trangia 27-8 stove and cookware set
Pros: Lightweight
"Great quality and very well made. The non stick surface is excellent for easy camp cleaning. It is Well worth the extra money compared to the more basic sets. The hard anodising is better for even heat absorbtion too. Ten out of ten !"

Pros: 耐久性, 魅力的, 丈夫さ
Cons:

Awsome Product, Buy It
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile
Cons: Expensive
"I have used the mini trangia before and loved it, so i decided to get a 27 series. As expected it is great as well. HA series is tough, and at a great price i can afford a bump here and there. Still expensive, but beggers cant be choosers. The 27 series allowes me to pack salt and pepper along with tea and sugar inside it, therefore taking up minimal space. Thanks Guys."

Superb cooking set
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight
"I've been on a 3 week tour and used this Trangia cooking set throughout the trip. I cannot tell you how impressed I am. It's so simple and versatile. If you really want to cook your outdoor meals, Trangia is the way to go. No burned food, no priming. I did not have any troubles finding alcohol for the burner.
However, if you will be mainly boiling water, it's not the best solution, because it is slow for that.
No problems with the wind, the windscreen does an excelent job. The pan holder is very comfortable (compared to Trangia Mini one). I didn't like the way the simmer ring rotates with great effort (you cannot really adjust it once it is on the burner).

Excellent Purchase Trangia Stove
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, High Quality
"Having bought this stove to replace a much used and abused, earlier version. I'm absolutely amazed at the value of this new one it cost me less the the original (much thanks to Wiggle) one which I bought here in Oz.
I use this stove both afloat and ashore, you cannot go past this for value and durability.

Excellent cost performance
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Rugged, Adjustable, Versatile
Cons: Bulky
"Compared with the retail price in JPN, cost performance is excellent. This was a SIPER buy! Storm cooker's wind management was also greater than expected. I did not need the kettle..."

Ideal for the cycle tourist
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Versatile, compact
"This set is an ideal size and weight for 2 people on a cycle tour, the pans are just large enough to make a substantial pasta meal for two.
The set is very compact and lightweight considering there are three pans and a kettle as well as burner and windshields, and taking this into account it is good value as well. It fits well into my front pannier bag.
I chose the hard anodized as I expected the non-stick to be less durable, but it is still wise to use plastic utensils and non-stick cleaning pads.
Most of the component parts can be bought individually so this set should have a very long life, and there are a number of accessories available.
An excellent buy!"
