Great value purchase used with Kettler equipment
Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Great Value, Lightweight
"The T31 belt was purchased to use with a Kettler Elliptical Trainer and Exercise Bike which required a non-coded belt. It is a lot cheaper that the T34 model, and has so far worked faultlessly. It was instantly detected by the Kettler machines, and is comfortable in use.
The belt is removable from the monitor to enable washing.
Very pleased overall.

Polar T31 Transmitter belt
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"The Polar T31 Transmitter belt is great, i had lost my old one. I have a old polar which i have had for 10 years and its still going strong. I knew the only belt i could get was the T31. So far I have used it for all my running, riding and swimming, very cumfortable. I find that without adding any water to the sensor pads that it is still able to pick up my heart rate very quickly...this has helped my training and i really could not be happy with something that is simple and it works"

Cheap Heart Rate monitor
Pros: Great Value, Adjustable, Good Fit
"Fitted to work with the Tacx flow turbo trainer with skyline support - I have no hesitation in reccommending this product which is not uncomfortable to wear and gives accurate readings."

Works well
Pros: Comfortable, Adjustable, Good Fit
"I went along with the recommendation to use one of these with a Tack Flow turbo and found it works very well. Just needs a little moisture to ensure there is good contact with the skin."

Works For Me
Pros: Comfortable, Rugged, Adjustable
Cons: cant replace battery
"Works for me
I purchased this to use with my Tacx Fortius Multiplayer. Worked out of the box with no issues so far.
Seems to take a little longer to achieve a good contact unlike my Garmin 705 strap but I really cant be bothered with the whole conductive gel thing. A couple of minutes into the warm up and all is fine.
Like other reviewers I was a little concerned on value due to battery replacement potential but the claimed 2500 hours seems alright to me. Good DIY replacement steps on roadbikereview forum. Dont really understand this design but cant complain for the cost."

Using with Tacx Fortius
Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Good Fit
"I would recommend this if looking for a HR belt for use with a Tacx Trainer especially.
The strap has been significantly improved from the older (coded) version I used, which suffered badly from electromagenetic interfenece when using with aTacx Trainer.
Not only does it not suffer interference (from things like a laptop power supply), but there are now two decent sized electrodes widley separated.
It is more comfortable and the detection is much better. Hasn't missed a beat - literally! Excellent."

Heart Monitor
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, Adjustable
"Bought this for use with my Tacx Flow Trainer and it works. Does what it should and makes training a little more informative.
Together the two have helped me to improve my cycling style, to maximise performance, as with the trainer I can monitor my power output versus heart rate versus cycling position, e.g. I hadn't realised when standing I was leaning too far forward and loosing a lot of power despite working hard.
Fit is comfortable and adjustable. I debated buying one but now I have, I should have bought it sooner."

Polar T31
Pros: Durable, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"This transmitter has always been chosen by me and my fellow competitors over the new 'wearlink' ones which tend to be too bulky. It fits well and can withstand a lot of hammer in training and racing. Polar really is the last word in quality HRMs and this transmiter unit is no exception."

works with tacx trainer
"Solid basic uncoded hrm transmitter.
This is not the most comfortable hrm strap ever, the hard plastic is a poor fit in comparison with some of the soft chest straps available. my garmin and a previous polar soft strap were much nicer to wear. Its also pricey for what it is. however if like me you want something basic, reliable and uncoded this is just fine.
It works with my tacx trainer so I can train with heart rate while indoors."

works fine
Cons: non-replaceable battery
"only got it to go with a non-ant+ trainer
works fine, but it's annoying that the battery isn't user replaceable (like in garmin's)
you can cut the thing open to do it, but that's no excuse for polar to effectively make it a disposable item"

Polar T31 non coded H/R monitor
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged, Versatile
Cons: can't replace battery
"I bought this to work with my Tacx trainer and it does, perfectly. Linked immediately and didn't need setting up.
The strap is waterproof, and the actual transmitter is completely sealed.
Downside is you don't appear to be able to change the battery....I don't know how long it will last.
Otherwise excellent

Does what it should, no fuss
Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Great Value
"I have a Tacx turbo trainer and wanted a heartrate monitor belt to use with it. The Tacx one seems expensive so I went for the Polar non-coded belt and it works just great."

Good quality item
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, High Quality, Versatile
Cons: sometimes slides down
""Used for 7 years with Polar watch and then with Tacx Fortius turbo trainer. The battery is still alive after such a long time, and you can even install new battery by yourself, just google for DIY instructions. There is a single problem with this belt, sometimes it slides down from the chest when doing XC skiing.""

Works Very Well
Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable
Cons: cannot replace battery
"I bought this HR transmitter to use with a heart rate variability app on my iphone. The iphone picks up this uncoded transmitter without any problems - using a receiver which is sold with the iphone app via App Store or iTunes. The belt works well, even without dampening of the pickup points. The only criticism I have is that you cannot replace the battery. This is common with other Polar bike products including their speed and cadence sensor. This is wasteful and expensive because the batteries only last 1-2 years and then you have to buy a complete new unit rather than £2 battery. I have marked this product down on value for that reason."
