"bought in error thinking it was brake cable inner, plenty of length on it for a straddle wire, so will need to be clipped...not quite enough to stretch to the back wheel though!!

The long straddle wire option
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Adjustable, Good Fit
"It's a very long wire, so will need cutting down with suitable pliers or cutters for a standard cantilever MTB brake. As another reviewer has also noted, you will also need spare cable end caps to stop the cable from fraying and damaging the bike paintwork, as these aren't included. It performs fine in regular use."
