New to clipless pedals!

Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Good Fit, Great Value
"After hearing all the benefits of cleated shoes and clipless pedals, I thought I'd give them a go on my Ridgeback hybrid commuting bike.
Removing the old plastic road pedals was simple enough with a spanner however the head was too big to fit around the bolt for these new ones. Luckily there's a hex key slot at the back of the pedal, so I used that to install and tighten them, which did the trick.
I bought a pair of Shimano M076 SPD shoes and once I'd configured the cleats where I wanted them and hopped up on the bike to learn how they worked, I went outside for a bit of road practice!
I'd left the pedals with the tightness they were set to out of the box, and this appears fine for me. Clipping into and out of them is straight forward and you just push your foot downwards until you hear the click, then twist your heel outwards to release. It does take a little bit of getting used to and I did fall over whilst practicing outside my house. Luckily as I fell I found it's kind of instinctive to twist your foot out so I saved myself before I hit the deck! I can imagine it being pretty painful though if you can't stop yourself...
After about 30 minutes riding around, stopping, clipping and unclipping I had the hang of it. There's some float in the pedal so you can move your foot slightly, but not enough to make you unclip accidently."

My first clip-ins
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Rugged
Cons: heavy
"These were my first set of clip-in peddles and I can't recommend them highly enough. The build quality is excellent and after a bit of practice, clipping in and out is almost effortless. They were heavier than I was expecting, but not ridicolously so.
There's a two small screws on each pedal which adjust how much force it takes to get your foot out (which you do by twisting your heel away from the bike by about 30°). Make sure you adjust both to the same setting when you change them though or you'll find it really easy/hard to get out when the pedal turns over! If it's your first time and use the lightest setting because believe me, you'll fall off a few times when you first get them ;-)
I've been through some muddy trails and even caked in some of Bristols claggiest soil they still seemed to work fine.
Overall, an impressive piece of kit for a reasonable price - definitely recommeded."

excellent upgrade
Pros: finish quality
"Having purchased and experienced the Shimano
M520 pedals, I can happily recommend them. The build
quality is high, they work well, and I particularly like
the smooth bearings, and dirt shields.
The cleat release is not that difficult for those who
have not tried them before, although they are still
managing to be one of my MTB downfalls on
occasions.

"Bought these in white to replace some silver ones that have moved to an older bike.
Not a lot to say, as far as SPD's go, they are great, fit well, am very happy with them.
The white and black pairs look a lot smarter that the silver ones in my opinion."

Superb pedals for the price.
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Good Fit
"These were my first entry in to the world of clipless pedals and I don't think I'll change to another type. Bit apprehensive at first about "clipping myself" to my bike but these are really easy to use. You get a nice "click" when you lock in and are really secure once in place. Nice and easy to un-clip and the added beauty that you don't need to look down and make sure your pedal is the right way up like some of my friends do as they are double sided.
Can't be beaten in my opinion.

Do the job
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Adjustable
"Bought these a few weeks ago now and they are a solid pedal, easy to fit and adjust, ideal for someone new to clipping in like me. Had a problem with one of the springs but sent it back to wiggle after some advice and they sent a new one pronto ( thanks Wiggle team) all in all a decent bit of kit. I bought on the strength of other reviews and they were not wrong. P.S I use these on my road bike without a problem"

buena compra
Pros: buen precio, Alta calidad
"Era la primera vez que iba a utilizar unos pedales automáticos, y me decidí por estos por su precio y por recomendación de otros usuarios. La verdad que me van perfectos, los tengo bastante flojos y hasta ahora nada malo que decir. Recomendables"

Excellent pedal choice
Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable
"Some pedals can cost an arm and a leg and if you have multiple bikes and want to use the same shoes then the price really climbs. I have fixed these to my commuter and mountain bike and have the touring single sided version on my race bike. They are excellent. Plenty of tension adjustment, enough float and smooth bearings which are easily adjustable and maintained. Top that with good build quality and a great price and only the weight conscious brigade need look elsewhere,"
