No slip ups
Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Great Value, Lightweight, Versatile
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"Having been pipped at the post during a cross country run and lost 2 places because of an untied shoe lace, I bought these little beauties. Good price, easy to fit and adjust and comfortable, you need never worry about tying laces too tight and then being uncomfortable due to foot swelling during a race nor worry about the dreaded open shoe-lace during sports. Just get these. The only drawback experienced so far is that unless you really tighten these for boggy and muddy ground, your foot can come right out of the shoe as the locklaces are designed to be stretchy. Lost one of my trail shoes in a puddle on my first outing using the lock laces; tip 2- go for Goretex/waterproof socks!
Recommended for endurance and multi-terrain runners alike and at this price, get them for all your sports shoes. I'd like to see some more colour-ways including day-glow neon for increased night-visibility.

I'm not a triathlete, just lazy
Pros: Comfortable, Great Value, Lightweight
"This product will be very popular with triathlete, for obvious reasons, and was probably developed with that in mind. But if you’re like me and have no desire to swim, ride a bike then run in one day you still might benefit from this product.
Triathletes will love this product because is makes it incredably easy it get your trainers on so you can cut down your 'transition' time from bike to run.
but, if like me running can some times seem a bit like a chore, or you go running in the morning, maybe before work or generally in rush, this product is great for just making going for a run a little bit simpler.
Plus mine have never come loose, so no stopping mid run to tighten your laces.
To summarize do you like tying laces, if not there’s no reason to not buy these, if yes . . . well you need help.
(Piece of advice, if the tongue of your trainers have loops for the laces to go threw don’t ignore them as you'll slip your foot in and the tongue will disappear down to your toes)

Single-handed laces made easy
Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Good Fit, High Quality, easy to fit
"Since losing the use of one hand, I have struggled to tie laces. I can cope - just about, but it's difficult. I came across Lock Laces whilst searching the web and was sceptical for quite a long time. I needn't have, as they are a superb solution for my disability and they make so much sense I am wondering why on earth anyone would want to ever tie laces anymore.
They are extemely easy - even single-handed - to fit, adjust and tie off. It took me only a few short minutes to fit these to a pair of winter boots (so they are also plenty long enough). In fact it was so quick, I think I fitted them in less time than it used to take for me to tie my old boot laces! In addition, I can now consider lace-up shoes for work, rather than having to compromise on whatever slip-on shoes I can find. The lock part of the laces are hidden beneath jeans or trousers, so no-one need know you're wearing them.
They are also very comfortable once you have adjusted them properly to fit. At first, I tied them too tight, as I couldn't imagine they would hold my heavy boots on whilst walking, unless they were as tight as my old laces. They work amazingly, comfortably well and I am still adjusting them a bit looser so that I get the right fit. Be prepared to leave a slightly longer tail on the laces so that you have room to adjust. This is no fault of the laces, but instead I think it is a fault of [my] human nature to distrust and over do this type of fastener.
Buy the laces and wonder how or why you did without them for so long. I'll certainly be buying more pairs."

Can't do without them

Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, Lightweight
"After using these for a few days, I realised that I would never run with standard shoe laces again. Initially I bought them to save time on transitions, and of course it is quick, but what I really appreciate is that the shoes are on tight but without "being" tight on the top. How many times I have stopped and adjusted my shoes...
All in all, excellent value, and don't tie knots in the end, just re-use them on next pair of shoes.

Fast T2 with the Right Tightness
Pros: Adjustable, Durable, easy and cheap way to save time
Cons: need to experiment to get the right tightness
"Elastic laces like these are now a pretty well-established tool and a no-brainer for experienced triathletes, so here are some comments for beginners who've previously only used standard laces.
You should definitely have some form of elastic lace. They will save you 15-30 seconds in T1 - about the same overall time saving as a £500 deep section wheel or several weeks of interval training. They are also very easy to set up and adjust.
If you have shoes with small lace eyelets, Lock Laces are your best option - the alternative style with knotted elastic will be very hard to get through the eyelets.
If you've not run with elastic laces before, you'll have to experiment to work out the right tightness for you. With elastic laces, your shoes will feel slightly looser than you're used to. However, if you tighten the lace too much before locking, then you'll have trouble getting the shoe on in T2 and lose time in the struggle. So you'll have to practise and experiment to get the right trade-off.
Oh, and they'll last longer than several pairs of run shoes."

"Nowadays, I can't use running shoes without shoelaces.
When I tried for the first time I was reluctant, however, the adjustability to the feet and the comfort when you run several miles is an achievement.

Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Adjustable
"Brilliant laces - lasted several hundred mile in my last shoes although i ended up over tightening them, then cutting the laces - which was fine when i was running but sitting around in my trainers would start to pinch - my own stupid fault tho!"

Super product, but a little short
Pros: Attractive, Adjustable
Cons: short
"Fairly easy to put on your shoes and makes it easy to put them on.
Especially great if you do triatlon and are in a hurry in transition. But they are also great for your kids shoes when they ´have trouble with the laces.
But.... they should have been 5 cm longer. Its a little tricky if you have a big foot (size 44 ond more)"

A little gem!
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Adjustable
"After complaining to some triathlete friends that I was fed up with the trade off between shoe laces coming undone mid run or having a double knot which after 20 miles of running is hard to undo, so they suggested I try these.
I bought a pair that matched my shoes, laced them up using the 'casual' lacing technique listed in the enclosed instructions, which gives you more adjustability, and off I went.
I've now bought another set for my shorter distance shoes, as they are so comfortable easy and save me at least 30 seconds in my transition from suit to running gear for the way home!
They come in loads of colours and are really high quality, to the extent that one pair has outlasted a pair of trainers.
The only negative is that on a pair of minimalist shoes the round profile of the laces means that they are noticeable and i found they caused a bit of bruising on the top of my foot.
I now only use them on more substantial conventional running shoes and whilst they are not a life changer they do make getting out the door a little easier, and getting shoes off at the end of a run can be done hands free."

Convenient but not essential
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Adjustable, Good Fit
"You might notice a better fit of your running shoes when using this lace, plus you won´t need to tie or untie your shoes any more.
However, I have only buy it because I found it cheap, otherwise I would have stick with the normal lace
