Detailed and comprehensive, but....
Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality
Cons: only show the route so surrounding area.
".... take an OS map too!
I bought several of these maps recently to string a long route together. The maps are well printed and show the route in great detail. The problem is that they ONLY show the route (i.e. a half mile wide ribbon of mapping) so if you get lost or hit a detour you've gone "off map". When cycling the Trans Pennine way, flooding etc meant the route was being diverted for repairs. Not having OS maps, I got horrendously lost, which Touring Cyclists will know is no fun without a map.
So, these are great maps but take some form of back up (like the OS route maps for example.)"
