You need this!
Pros: Adjustable, Durable, Good Fit, High Quality, Rugged
"I have a Tacx Sirius Blue Soft Gel Folding Magnetic Trainer, and use this exclusively for my winter training and interval work, especially the Tabata Protocol.
The training wheels that I have come with a conventional skewer, so the need for the Tacx skewer was pretty much taken out of my hands.
The skewer itself is made to last, and does the job it was designed to do flawlessly.
It locks down my wheel without any problems, and I have, from time to time ventured out onto the streets with it in place. I have complete faith in them, even on 55 mph descents!
They are not aerodynamic, and obviously not light, but they are strong!
Not a lot else to say really, and if need be, I'd buy another one, if I needed to.
If you have a Tacx trainer, then these skewers fit without any problems. I cant speak for Minoura, CycleOps or Elite trainers, so your on your own on that one!"

Pros: Great Value, Good Fit
"Bought this to replace lost skewer on Tacx Swing turbo trainer. Fits solidly and reassuringly into the turbo, leaving you free from worrying about it working loose at 30mph. Can't fault, and although not lightweight can be used on the bike while out on the road."

"A simple and cheap addition if you have no skewers that will fit your turbo. Also saves your prized skewers being damaged.
I have an older model Cycleops which I'm sure was designed to take old style skewers and due to the lever being halfway down the body helps fit the skewer in a turbo clamp. Buying this certainly saved me a few hundred quid buying a new turbo.
I wouldnt use it for going out on the road though, but then again, that's not what it's designed for."

Works in an Elite Trainer too
"It's hard to be too enthusiastic about a quick release Skewer, but I was really pleased with this. I needed a spare skewer for my Elite Fluid Elastogel trainer (so that I can leave one on my bike and one on my girlfriend's.
I was concerned that a skewer designed for use with a Tacx trainer may not fit on my Elite trainer, but there was nothing to worry about. It is easy to switch over and fits the trainer well.
Not much more to say about a skewer really, It does it's job and was pretty reasonably priced.
It arrived promptly too."
