Quality carbohydrate replacement

"I used gel carbohydrate replacement gels 10 years ago and remember them as being rather sweet, sickly and unpalatable! These gels are nothing of the sort. They are easy to digest in an easy to use hand shaped package, all of which can be done on the move."

Science in sport gels give you the energy to go !!
Pros: High Quality, good energy blast, isotonic gel
Cons: flavour is weak, bulky to take a few on a long ride
"I have to say I am a convert. These SIS gels are isotonic so when you need the energy to get up that big hill you can just take the gel without having to gulp half your bottle down as well (like some non isotonic gels). The flavour is ok but nothing to write home about, but the energy kicks in within 10 minutes and lasts well. I shall continue to use these gels and would recommend them."

"Got these for a L2P last week end and they were good. Not too sweet and quite a lot to "drink" as they don't need water.
Do they give a real kick when you need one? not sure but they worked for me when I needed them so I suppose they do."

Can swallow without water
"The most important criteria for me is that the contents can be consumed with gagging. These certainly meet that criteria and are actually quite nice.
Only thing is the sachets are quite big and would struggle to put them into a smallish saddle bag. But they easily fit into back shirt pocket."

Easy to swallow, no water required
Pros: Great Value, tasty
"These are easier to take than some other gels i've tried, and you don't need to swig as much water (the manufacturer claims none at all) after you take the gel. The orange flavour actually tastes like orange, too. Only thing to consider is they don't have caffeine, if that's important for you in a gel."

"Good sized sachets, relatively easy to open while your on the move. Can't feel a sudden increase in energy levels but seem to work on longer rides and keep you going, probably due to the isotonic element. I will buy some more when I get down this box."

"Having tried other brands, which are good (eg powerbar gels) I keep returning to SIS gels as they are easy to consume, sit fine on my stomach and are easy to use. I find they fit well into a nutrition plan and always cope with life in my back pockets! Also, they seem good shape to reach for on the move. All in all a great product! We'll done SIS."

Good gels don’t need water but can be lumpy
Pros: Great Value, no extra water

"These gels were great for long runs and got me through 3 marathons. The problem started when I got a lumpy batch. They still work fine but its not a pleasant feeling taken a gel with lumps in it. I have research the issue and other seem to have the same problem."

Taste good and do the job.

"I like these gels. They taste good, and kick in very quickly. If you know you've got a steep climb ahead or just need a quick energy boost, whip the top of one of these and in ten minutes your ready to go. Some gels taste awful but these are nice.
And of course the nornal speedy Wiggle service!!"
