Not particularly comfortable
Pros: High Quality
Cons: Unadjustable, Poor Fit
"It's taken me a little while to find a fit that doesn't press too hard on my nose without it slipping off my face. However I've found that I can't wear glasses when wearing this as I have to wear it a little high on my nose- so it's 'either, or' with glasses. The filter works nicely though - you can notice the difference in your throat and lungs compared to not wearing it. I'll persist with this to see if I can find a comfortable way to wear this with glasses as I'd like to wear a filter whilst cycling in the city."

Glow in the dark
"A great product that now glows in the dark and provides you with a bit more hi viz. The nose peices do have a tendency to break (this is a replacement for that reason) but should last years as long as you aren't too rough with it."

Really brilliant
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"I saw these masks being worn in London, but hadn't realised they were anti-pollution masks. I bought one as I cycle through Croydon & Sutton on my commute, and found it helps not only in giving the air a nicer "taste" but also helps me breathe easily when the temperature is very cold and taking breath is difficult without it."

Does it's job
Pros: Comfortable, keeps your face warm in cold weather
"I've used this mask for just over a week and still trying to get over driver looks, hence the score on appearance. It's hard work breathing when pushing it on a hill or sprinting for lights in that you have to breath harder through the filters. That said after commuting to/from work I'm no longer reaching for an inhaler or wheezing, a problem for me that has developed after this daily commute over 4 years. So for me this product works."

Clear breathing and high visibility
Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit, reflective
Cons: Expensive, Unadjustable
"Despite claims I look like a shiny Darth Vader, this mask is great. My tickly cough has gone away. Great for my 12-mile round trip commute along a dusty industrial road and through the city centre. Makes face rather warm, velcro can irritate the back of my neck if not fitted correctly and mists up after about 40mins, but it gets me all the way from home to work without a problem. Super reflective at night. Get a few strange looks, but overall it raises awareness about urban air pollution and I wouldn't cycle in the city without it now."

OK for slow riding
Pros: Adjustable, High Quality, Lightweight
"At speed I tend to breath quite heavily and sweet a lot. When this item gets wet it looses quite a bit of it's normal flow. Breathing becomes labored and I noticed that my heart rate went up. This has a knock on effect of slowing me down due to lack of breath."

Quite simply a good bit of kit!
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, High Quality, Rugged
Cons: Expensive
"I purchased the RESPRO City Nitesight anti pollution mask as a bit of an experiment, as I had never tried an anti pollution mask before, and I regularly commute to work on a bike in Birmingham. Before using the mask I had a niggling cough, you know the little spot at the back of your throat that causes you to cough. Since consistently using the mask this cough seems to have stopped. I did after a couple of weeks try a ride to work without the mask again and really noticed the car and bus fumes. Guess what? I also started coughing again that evening! Now I am back with the mask I don't cough. The mask is a good quality build aswell with solid stitching holding it together. The scotchlite makes it good for evening wear and reflects light back well."

Great unless you wear specs
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Durable, Good Fit, High Quality
Cons: not suitable for people who wear spectacles
"My wife bought me this mask and it is well made and really does the job. The problem is that I wear glasses and I have found that when I exhale through my mouth the breath is funnelled up out of the mask and steams up my specs really quite badly. As a result I have not worn it anything like as much as the pollution in London demands, a pity because it is a good mask."
