be cool and be seen
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, High Quality
Cons: Expensive
"I used to ride around with a load of silver reflective tape plastered all over my bike. When I bought a new Commuter, a Charge Mixer, I didn't want to spoil the sleek good looks. A bit vain I know - but when I came across this stuff I had to try it. It's quite expensive, but works a treat. Barely visible by day yet blindingly silver when viewed from a cars perspective.
I'm all about being seen these days - but the little boy in me still wants to look cool. This stuff is the answer."

Great, if you've got a black frame!
"As it happens, various part of my commuter bike are black, so this tape is near enough invisible during hours of daylight, but fairly frequently gets "nobody's going to miss you coming" type comments from passing pedestrians after dark!
It's fairly costly for what it is, but if it stops someone driving in to me on a London commute, then worth every penny."

Buena opción
Pros: buen precio, Alta calidad, Versátil, Buen ajuste

Great extra vis solution!
"Great purchase for that extra bit of visibility. The black colour is great for subtlety and doesn't make your bike look like a sticker book.
I used mine on my bike and on my helmet too. The great thing is that you can be quite creative on this A4 sheet. After adding some strips to my bike I cut out some funky characters on the scrap bits and stuck em on my helmet. Hidden during the day but come alive at night!
Might not seem like it would reflect any light, but it does a treat! Great solution without that added sticker tat look."

Discrete but could be better
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Adjustable
Cons: not as good as normal scotchlite
"I have a black bike so I did not want the normal 3m scotchlite to make the bike look stupid so I bought black. The sheet looks small but I managed to cover both sides of the frame and forks with 1/3 to spare
You can hardly see the stickers in day light. At night when it does light up and is visible by cars. The light has to be directly on it for it to shine. It's not as good as normal scotchlite but great if you have a black bike. I also managed to cover my cycling helmet as well.

reflective coolness
Pros: Attractive
Cons: Expensive
"Not as bright as normal hi-vis tape, and expensive for what it is.
However, I have a black bike, and wanted to be seen so this was a good option - still looks cool in the day, but glows in headlights after dark.
Would recommend if you want to be seen, and want to keep your bike looking good.

Expensive, but does the job
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Versatile
Cons: Expensive, Unadjustable
"As another reviewer has said, it's not as bright as the traditional silver 3M material, but I've got a black commuter bike, didn't want to 'ruin it's good looks', and this doesn't.
It is, as described, very sticky. Take care when putting it on to not get any bubbles, as they're a pain to get rid of (pin hole is the best technique).
A single sheet of A4 was enough to cover the main 'sight points' on my bike, all those bits which won't be covered by me when I'm riding and which actually 'point outwards'.
I'd recommend this to anyone with a black bike - othewise I'd get the silver stuff as it is brighter.

Stealth by day, Hi Viz by night
Pros: effective
Cons: tricky to apply
"The sticker comes as a single A4 sheet, making it easy to customise the stickers to the shape and size needed.
I used the sticker in simple bands around the frame. By day it just looks like old-skool black bands, which matches the 'feel' of the steel-framed SS commuter. By night the bands are highly reflective, providing additional side visibility.
The sticker can be tricky to apply; it is easy to stretch it slightly, so that the sticker is not quite flat and then catches bubbles underneath. However, this deformability also helps when applying the stickers to curved surfaces (e.g., forks)."

nice to be seen
"i bought this to stick on my commuter bike to make it a bit more visible on the home trip of an evening/night. certainly makes you more visible to motorists at night but doesn't make the bike look too daggy during the day either (it's hidden by the black paint on my bike)."

Black is darker
Pros: fashionista aid
Cons: low luminescence
"With black reflector tape on bike, with it in a bedroom and a crack of light coming in past the door, I reckon this black reflector material is about 25% the luminescence of the silver one. I'm sticking with silver as my main safety measure and putting some black around the carbon frame to flesh out reflectivity. Go with silver for serious safety. For the slaves to fashion, this is better than nothing. Every 0.5 sec the other driver has to see you and respond is a big bonus for your safety.
Going through roundabouts this stuff can make a world of difference. Consider the small crescent of light that a bike headlight presents a 90deg entering motorist. Then put 1" x 5" of silver reflector tape into the equation for side illumination - a world of difference. Mount it low for earliest reflection to downward headlight beam. A little led flasher on the bars can help attract attention thru a wider arc than the headlight, and weighs a pittance. These A-4 sheets are great value, and reflector tape generally can be very difficult to find in bike shops. I've got it all over my helmet, too. The Cateye 10-led red tail light is good, too, for having dedicated leds to view side on - it's only taken a hundred years to work that out."

Disappointed
Pros: Durable
"Easy to apply and it seems like it is going to be difficult to remove (time will tell). On the downside, I very disappointed with the level of reflectiveness - very mediocre. I've used an equivalent product that is silver coloured and I was impressed with that."

Be Seen
Pros: High Quality
Cons: Expensive
"Very reflective and yet being black this stuff is also discrete when there is no light shining on it. I've cut small shapes and stuck it on my bike in places where it will blend in and go unnoticed - until it goes dark."

Amazingly Bright
"This stuff is great. From close up or at an angle, it looks rubbish but further away it reflects really well: distant headlights shine right back at the driver. You cut it yourself and the sheet is big enough to cover the important parts of your bike, popping some strips on the main tubes, stays and the forks. Most bike lights only really help you be seen at the front and back - not from the side. This sticker sheet should help reduce the chance of a side-on collision."

Great
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"When this sticker is on, it's on so make sure you place it where you want it. I cut mine up and have it around both seat stays on my commute bike and on the seat tube for side visibility. So far, I have done several very wet rides, washed the bike several times and the sticker looks and performs as well as the first day I applied it. Great value, very effective and a cheap way to be seen!
Sticker does not stick to clothes!"
