Conflicted Interest
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality
"Having three Topeak pumps of different models, on my bikes, and needing one to kit up my wifes' new ride, there was only one choice really. Topeak make really great pumps. Well designed, and engineered. Robust and reliable. This one is no different, except its the best one yet. So good, that I have to fight the strong compulsion to re house it on my favorite machine. M u s t . . . R e s i s t."

Good pump
Pros: High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged
"I didn't understand the guage at first as it has black and white markings so wasn't sure where the numbers and red line should be lined up with.
Got the info on this via the topeak website where there are contact details for their International customer service, found on the service and tech tab.
I'm surprised this does not come with instructions for the guage itself as not all of us are seasoned riders that know about these things, Other than that minor gripe, the pump is excellent, easy to use and seems accurate. At least I have an idea of what psi I'm runnning while out on trails, handy when you need to change the pressure to suit terrain or just after mending punctures.
No more guesswork.

Topeak Master Blaster Mini DX-G
Pros: High Quality, Rugged
"This is a good pump. Can be used on both presta and schraeder valves. Bought this mainly because it has a handy mount so you can attach it to the frame. Not as small as other pumps, but definately more powerful ! Gague is handy too !"

Versatile Pump
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, Versatile
Cons: Poor Fit
"Exactly what I was after, something I could use on my road bike and the traditional valve on the Unicycle. The gauge is great to make sure I'm getting close to a full tube at the higher road pressures.
Also issue is it's harder to get a seal on the old valve's than the road. Takes a few goes to get it on."

Hard to Use, Gauge impossible to read, d
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Expensive, Unadjustable, Low Quality
"To say I am disappointed is an understatement you buy a "small" pump to spend 99% of its life doing nothing but when you need it, You need it and it had better work.
The failings are it does not pump much above 40 psi without a lot of effort the handle does not fit into your hand, The gauge is impossible to read unless you look at the website and you cannot do that in the rain on the side of the road at night. Buy a simple one that works

Snapped valve
Pros: Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Low Quality, impractical
"The pump looks good and sits well on the bike. But it's too short and the effort needed to pump up a tube to 90psi saw the valve snap right off the tube. Would suggest spending a bit more to get a longer pump arm so you can actually pump a tyre to the pressure needed to ride home."

Pros: High Quality
"Not a bad pump, it's well made and is good enough to get you out of trouble. Stated maximum pressure is 140psi, good luck getting anywhere near that, I would suggest 40psi is a realistic maximum. Doesn't fit well on a square tube frame"

Small, Compact, Great Pump
Pros: Attractive, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"I was looking for a small compact mini pump with gauge for quite a while, and this one kept coming up. I have to say it does the job and it fits on my bike perfectly. My only negative is you cant read the gauge because it has been built on the underside of the pump. But saying that, i think it is the best one out there."

Effective but weighty
Pros: Great Value
Cons: heavy
"The pump works well and gets a tyre inflated quite quickly. The gauge is a great additional feature but I would question its accuracy at that size (although it shouldn't put off a purchase)! I think the only real negative point is that it's quite heavy however I've not compared it with other pumps."

Not bad
Pros: Attractive, Rugged, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: Poor Fit, a bit rigid needs a flexible hose.
"As a pump it works but is quite hard work. The pressure display isn't too easy to read but it does work. Comes with a mounting bracket that implies that you can mount it with your bottle carrier -- you can't. You could if you had screws that were 5mm longer so they went through your bottle carrier AND the pump mount but that isn't what is supplied so you will have to use the second mounting, if you have one. This is the first time I have carried a pump that doesn't have a flexible hose and while that makes it convenient to mount it does make pumping harder and a strain on rigid components so everything shakes (including you) in use."

Good solid 'mini' pump with gauge
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Rugged
Cons: Bulky
"This is a solid and well made little pump with a useful little pressure gauge.
As other have said, because it pumps on both inwards and outwards strokes, I get worried that I'm going to rip off the tyre valve when pumping with real effort - I haven't done so yet though! I would guess that the pressure gauge is for 'guidance' only and unlikely to be all that accurate, but that's better than not having any idea at all. You can only read it if you position the wheel in question so that the valve is at the top, but that's no hardship.
I had hoped to keep it on the bike full time, but it's just a little too bulky and heavy to displace my more diminutive Topeak Master Blaster."

Ideal 'Back Up' Pump
Pros: Great Value, Rugged, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: pressure gauge is quite small
"I purchased this pump purely to use in case of emergencies, and comes complete with an easy fit mounting bracket. It is compact enough to fit into a small rucksack if required. I haven't had to use it in action as yet but it seems sturdy enough and will get me back on the road again if necessary. If you need glasses for reading (as I do) then you may be dissappointed with the size of the pressure gauge. Apart from that I have no adverse comments at this stage."

Useless Pump
Cons: Expensive, useless
"This is a bizarre item. Very good quality, but useless. It is impossible to pump a tyre up more than 30 or 40 psi with this. The 'pumps in and out' feature is just annoying, as it is hard to put as much force into pulling as pushing. Maybe keep this for an emergency to get a bit of air in and get home. I bought a stand up track pump and have never looked back. Wish I never bought this."

Powerful and has gauge
"Though the gauge is a bit harder to see than I initially thought and perhaps one which doesn't clamp straight on would have better results from this respect ( as you have in a track pump with the flexible hose )"
