"Simply the most water resistant light I have. Enough light to be seen but not focussed enough to see with. Innovative magnetic switch allows switching between continuous and flashing modes while not using a switch prone to water ingress. The end of the cord contains the magnet to operate the switch. The two CR2032 batteries are accessed by twisting one side of the ligt against the other and pulling the two apart.
With the magnetic switch and tight fit of the two sides, the light is very water resistant and in my experience, very reliable."

Cheap but okay
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Adjustable
"These lights are pretty good for their price. They will allow you to be seen but won't light the way. The main positive for me is that they are super adjustable which means I can easily swap from bike to bike. They fit on my tri bars, road bike and helmet, really versatile. The fact that they are waterproof is also great."

Briliant technology
Pros: Attractive, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile
"this light was brought just incase I get caugt out late at dusk. Brilliant technology and light, fun compact design, lift weight, doesn't need unsightly brackets. A little fiddly to attach when in a hurry but well worth it! I feel the design of the fastener could be better on this light."

Great emergency light
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Versatile, waterproof
"Practically indestructible and fully waterproof. Intended for use as an emergency headlight or additional headlight. Not bright enough to light your way, but will make you more visible to other road users in a pinch. Good battery life, compact and lightweight."

Serves it's purpose
Pros: Lightweight, Versatile
"I bought this at the same time as I bought the back light version as it was a clearance offer. As such, they seem to work OK but I only got them to use as emergency spare lights in case either of my proper lights failed. Be careful to keep the magnetic strap end away from the light end otherwise it may switch on accidently you're going to store it in your bag or pocket. It's very light weight and small but I'm sure will be fine as a spare light. I like the fact you can dangle it off things or strap it more securely to bars etc."

Useful extra light
"Recently a cyclist just a few yards ahead of me was hit from the side by a large 4x4 which "didn't see him". Nasty accident, made me think about my visibility from the side. I have good lights front and rear and a few reflectives on my clothing, but the lights are not so obvious from the side. So I got 2 of these and slip my arms through the elastic loop, pushing these up to just above my elbow. They give excellent visibility from the side, and are light and comfortable"

Cateye Compact - handy
Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Versatile
Cons: not easy to keep still
"You can never have enough lights and this little diamond can go pretty much anywhere you want. I use it on my bike, on my dog and on me. Very bright with 3 settings and easy to use. The only downside is that I sometimes have trouble keeping it pointing forwards because it attaches by an elasticated cord and that wants to keep moving around. That's probably easily solved, but I haven't tried hard enough or got the knack yet. I need to play around with it a bit more. Overall I'm really pleased with it."

USELESS due to magnetic on/off
Pros: Attractive, Lightweight
Cons: always turns itself on.
"One of the most ridiculous design flaws I've ever come across!
The magnet at the end of the tether just needs to be stroked past the unit to turn it on / off. This looks / sounds great, until you put one in your bag, and it turns itself on, and you're left at night with a dead light and looking everywhere for someone to sell you two expensive CR2302(?) batteries. After you've gone through a few sets of batteries this way you'll soon be considering throwing this light in the bin.
I had two remedies for this: zip the light into your bag with the magnet dangling outside the zip; or prise the magnet off and keep it elsewhere. Neither is a solution you'd want to be using! (Especially the "prise the magnet off" one, as the magnet is easily lost).
On the plus side, it's a lightweight unit that can attach in loads of different ways as a backup light. All of that is outweighed because of the senseless on / off idea.
I'd love to know who field tested this light, if anyone!!"
