"bought as an upgrade for broken chainring from the 70's. It looks really good and rides smoothly with even chain tension. super stiff and light. plus it says alize track and is made in france which is getting me mad street cred.

Fit for purpose

"Modified my sons Raleigh 700 race bike to fixed wheel. Removed Shimano kit and double chainset. He wanted bullhorn bars and brake leavers to suit. Required different chainring and fixed sprocket. Kept Shimano cranks and this chainring fitted it perfectly using shorter bolts. I used to ride with TA chain sets many years ago so I knew about the quality."

"A High quality aluminium chainring. It holds the chain well, and the teeth stay nice and central on a 1/8th chain, which is a marked improvement over the stock chainring that I previously used.
I haven't tested anything more expensive than this, but for the value I would recommend it for someone who needs a 1/8th chainring for fixed gear riding."

"Total quality from TA. Simple, elegant, clean design, lovingly machined in time honoured fashion and oozing class in the art and craft and dept, while at the same time possessing the robust finish necessary for daily commutes on salted tarmac.
Crank it with some French Friends in an Auld Alliance, and apply jap track chain for an 1/8" delightful smooth transmission."
