Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged, Versatile
"I told my wife this turbo trainer was an investment in the future. I have a young son & my wife often works nights. The turbo trainer works great for me because, while Josh is asleep, I can crank out the miles- therefore ensure he has a fit & health dad to go cycling with in the future.
The quality of the parts is immediately obviously. It’s easy to assemble & easily adjustable. It does exactly what it says on the tin.
It difficult to find any criticism after 3 weeks- it was the right price, it got delivered in 2 days & it hasn’t missed a beat yet- absolutely spot on.
The noise is minimal; I can still easily hear the radio over the wereing.
Incidentally you need a radio or entertainment system of some description- spending hours on end watching the back of my garage door is nothing short of sole destroying- heart monitors are also useful to keep you from burning out or taking it too easy.
Great bit of kit & great service from wiggle.

Top Turbo Trainer!
Pros: Adjustable, Great Value, Rugged, compact
"This is my first turbo trainer, and I've wanted one for a while to supplement rides through the winter.
I've had it a couple of weeks now, and used it quite a bit. It is super simple, and you can pretty much use it straight out of the box.
The bike sits in it without any movement, and is a totally stable riding platform. You can stand up and pedal flat out on it and it doesn't budge.
When using it, it is quite noisy, and whistles like a jet engine when you're flat out, but my wife hasn't complained yet so it can't be that noisy!!!
When finished, the legs fold in and its pretty compact considering how solid it is when the bike's on it.
To sum up, I can't compare this to other trainers, but for me where I might have a quick hour to train in during a busy life, its perfect for those dark winter nights. Definately consider this trainer.

Does what it says on the tin
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: Not Enough Features
"Very good service from Wiggle, i set the trainer up in a matter of minutes with minimum fuss. it looks neat and is well made. performance wise, it is exactly what i expected, i am not an experienced cyclist so it is just the job for me. resistance can be altered according to requirements and fine tuning is done with your bikes own gears which is absolutely fine. i'm very pleased with my purchase, its not top of the range but it is certainly good enough for an amateur like myself!"

Fit for purpose
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive, noise on high speed
"Supports the bike well, no sign of loosening of after use. Instructions clear for initial setup. Variation of Mag setting hardly worth bothering about. Don't waste money getting the Mag lever shifter upgrade unit. Low noise in lower gears. Weird vibration when in higher gears, adjusted setup, but not able to remove noise."

Very good for a novice like me!
Pros: Durable, Rugged, Adjustable
"This is my first turbo trainer so can't compare to anything else, but once set up this is easy to use, quick to assemble and pack away, and most importantly it does what it is supposed to do and enables me to train effectively in doors. Overall very pleased."

Excellent product at an affordable price
Pros: Durable, Great Value
"I purchased this turbo trainer after doing some extensive research into this product and others available through Wiggle. I was looking for something to supplement my cycling training and therefore needed something durable but didn't want to spend a fortune. The Cycleops trainer fitted the bill perfectly and I haven't been disappointed. The product is well manufactured, easy to assemble and straightforward to use. It may lack the complete functionality of some more expensive models and sometimes can be a bit noisey but overall it is excellent."

Like Ronseal
Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality
"The rating of best value trainer on the market was what attracted me to the fact I wanted a simple, relatively inexpensive trainer. It does exactly what it says on the tin.
All these other reviewers going on about how it doesn't do this or it doesn't do that, it doesn't try and do anything more than be a well built, robust, simple, fairly compact, unencumbered trainer, at a great price! Oh, it doesn't come in the chilli red to match my bike frame but that's not a criticism I feel the need to tell the world.
If you wanted the trainer to have more adjustments and features etc., do you research and buy something that does all those things! I guess it comes down to most people don't want to pay good money for all the features. If you are someone who has shall we say, all the gear, this probably isn't for you, it's just not not flash enough

One of our best purchases
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable
"My partner and I both have standard road bikes which we enjoy but we are also only fair weather riders! So come the rain and wind, we're hopeless at going out on the bikes but still want to use them, hence looking into the cycle trainers.
We didn't have a fortune to spend but still wanted a reasonable trainer that would last us a decent amount of time. The Mag Turbo seemed to be recommended by almost everyone else who had bought it so we went for it and have been really impressed. It's really sturdy and easy to use, well worth every penny to be able to keep using our bikes no matter what the weather.
The only confusion was that our bikes don't have the removable axles on the back wheels so we couldn't figure out how to replace them with the axle provided. As it it, you don't! You just shove your bike in as it is with the standard axle and away you go.
Brilliant bit of kit, we'd both highly recommend it.
We went for the front wheel riser as well which I know some people have said they didn't need but we did find it helpful.

A good garage workout!
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Rugged, Adjustable, Good Fit
"Although this turbo trainer wasn't easy to put together (instructions not really clear) it has proved to be a good buy: sturdy, adjustable friction and just what I needed to keep cycling in the winter at a decent price. I also bought a riser block, which I would recommend, to hold the front wheel in place and at a similar height off the ground as the back wheel."

Pros: Attractive, Rugged
Cons: Not Enough Features
"The trainer has a nice look and it's not that difficult to install it (NB if italian is your mother language don't look at the setup guide's italian translation, it's awful).
Once you have set your bike on the trainer, you can't regulate the resistance other than with your bike's gears, so you'll need a couple of mount/dismount from the bike to achieve a satisfying resistance tuning.
The trainer is quite noisy, if you ask me I wouldn't use it inside an apartment with low-tolerance neighbors (in fact, I don't).
Frankly, I really don't get why it's a "recommended" product by wiggle, but I suppose that for the price is acceptable. If you want to try the indoor cycling but you're not really sure you will endure it, go for this product, otherwise I'd not recommend it."

Turbo Trainer
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Adjustable
"Easy to put together and solid once up. Basic instructions but managed to get it all working within minutes. Instructions dont show how the resistance is set but using the bike gears seems enough. Intially I thought that the resistance was overall to weak but a 30min spin doing 90 rpm on the cranks is pretty tough in a high gear. The noise is akin to a power drill or washing machine on a spin cycle when you're giving it beans but on a overall 25mph type of speed you can hear a TV or film over the noise. Tyre heat is minimal and the rear wheel on my road bike sits close to the floor so I dont think the front riser block really warrants the money. I found a Next directory does the job. Overall good bit of kit for the money and made to last."

Terrific turbo
Pros: Durable, Great Value
"Bought this intending to get ahead for the winter, but with work, family and other non-cycling influences (grrr...) scuppering any 3 or 4 hour ride plans, I've actually been using it a couple of times a week to squeeze in 30/45 minute sessions whenever I can. I've tried friends' turbos, and this compares favourably - it's quieter than most (you can hear music/DVD over it without getting a noise abatement ASBO), it's smooth and it was a doddle to set up. Good effort CycleOps!
Only downside goes for every other turbo on the market - the riser block which should come as standard doesn't, though you'll definitely be wanting one (unless you've got a stack of newspapers or old books and fancy cutting a hole in them for your wheel to sit securely in...)
