Pros: Great Value, Comfortable
"I was thinking of buying a different pair of reflective bands but after reading the reviews on the Respro reflective bands decided to try these bands, definitely a good decision. The Respro reflective bands are very visible and are comfortable being made from wetsuit type material. I would purchase these again if required."

Shiny ankles
Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Versatile
"Does what it says on the tin, I've had a pair of these for two years now and the velcro still holds strong, they are pretty easy to keep clean and therefore reflective which is a plus point. I've brought the second pair for my wrists to make signaling easier!"

"high vis yellow works well for daylight and reflective side is effective for dark conditions.
has the added bonus of keeping the bottom of my trousers tucked in and out of my gears on my commute.

Comfortable, Visible
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"Unlike the Ronhill snap bands, which stay on but are pretty inflexible, these are extremely comfortable! Coupled with two visibility options for night/day these are very versatile. I've used these on my horse's hind legs for visibility on the road (without boots underneath) and they are just the right length to go around his rather thick legs (he's a old style Hannoverian cross). I've used these in pitch dark (I ride with lights), and every driver that has been past me had slowed down to about 20kmh!! They will stay on through thick grass etc. I also wash them and use them when commuting long distances at night, they are extremely comfortable. Considering ordering more."

So far so good.
Pros: Great Value, Adjustable, Versatile
Cons: Poor Fit
"Had these bands a few weeks now and they seem to do the job.
The velcro fastenings are staying attached. No signs of the stitching coming undone.
The fluorescent and reflective sides are both good and do their jobs well in the day and at night respectively.
I haven't quite found the best place to wear them yet. Don't need them on my arms as have a jacket. I usually cycle in shorts or tights and the band is too loose if put around my ankle (would be fine over trousers). The band is too small to fit around my upper calf, below my knee. At the moment I put them as far up my leg as they can go and just hope they dont slip down. Will find out how this works out when I go on a longer ride."

great purchase
Pros: Durable, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, high visibility
"These Respro Reflective Ankle Bands are good for securing trouser bottoms but their main purpose as far as I'm concerned is visibility. Yellow for day and reflective for night you can be seen by motorists as your legs are almost always turning. Although they seem expensive for what they are they are really good value in terms of safety."

Good but...
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Lightweight
Cons: Expensive, Unadjustable
"Highly visible, do not slip and and material hopefully more durable than usual harder plastic bands. Not long enough and so little room for adjustment. They seem expensive but with luck they may last for a number of years."

Respro Reflective Ankle Bands
Pros: Durable, Comfortable, Adjustable, Lightweight
Cons: Expensive
"I bought these mostly to keep the right leg of my trousers away from my bike's chain and, being 5cm wide, they function very well in that regard. The potential for added visibility is useful as well but, having never had an out of body experience while riding, i can't vouch for how visible in low light / how reflective they actually are. The downside is the expense, and that was exacerbated in my case because although i only wanted one of them, they were only available to buy as a pair."

Useful and effective
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
"After using old fashion metal trouser clips that kept dropping off mid cycle these are just fantastic. Wide and comfortable, the velcro keeps them in place. Incredibly reflective. I feel much safer wearing these at night when on the road."

Reflective ankle bands
Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight
Cons: Expensive, Unadjustable
"They do what they say on the tin so I don't suppose I should give only 3 stars. However, they are quite short so they will fit around the ankle but I sometimes wear such bands just below the kneee to stop trousers getting soiled by the chain. These are no where near long enough to go there and the range of adjustment is not too great."

Excellent
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"The reflective side is great at night and the hi-vis side is great during the day. Every little helps as motorists just don't see us!
Very comfortable as you don't even feel them once you start cycling. The velcro is good and strong too.

The best ankle bands ever
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"I love my Respro ankle bands so much that I showed my dad and he said he wanted a pair for Christmas, hence this being my second purchase of the product.
Why do I like them so much? Well, I tried the traditional metal trouser clips but they kept sliding down my legs. The guy in my local cycle shop raved about the Respro bands, saying that all the staff there used them. They were quite pricey so I was a bit reluctant to shell out for them but once I did, I've never looked back.
The bands are easy to put on, are adjustable (becuase of the velcro) so they fit my legs perfectly and they don't slide down when I'm cycling. They are reversible so you can either have the fluorescent colour showing or the more subtle grey colour. They feel very hard wearing and are high quality.
I highly recommend this product."

Nightrider essentials!
Pros: Durable, Comfortable, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile
"Love the functionality with the double sides (day and night). The velcro strap could be a bit longer - fits my legs fine but if you have cankles and are kitted out in winter/wet weather gear you might not find the straps long enought!"

be seen in the dark
Pros: Comfortable, Adjustable
"These are great for improving visibility at night when running and cycling. I even bought another set to use for round my dog’s neck at night too.
During the day, the fluro yellow side is not quite as visible as some of my other ankle bands, but I think the night time visibility makes up for this.

Ankle Bands
Pros: High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: Expensive
"purchased these in favour of cycle clip to keep my trousers in place when going to work. They work well and have the bonus that they are reflective.
They are a tad expensive for what they are tho.
