Plain version - excellent safety aid.
Pros: Good Fit, Lightweight, extremely effective and longlasting reflectivity.
"I was suspect when fitting the band around a standard sized helmet at first, as it was a stretch and the print peeled off. It has, however, stayed in place and is still highly reflective after a good few years' use in all weathers. I would be suspect of its longevity if it was being regulalry refitted between different hats.
It certainly provides effective 360 degree reflectivity off even low light sources."

Not working as well as hoped

"I bought this as a xmas present for a friend. I got one too. We got them to put on motor bike helmets. Mine stays on all the time but unfortunately my friends keeps coming off. Maybe it's because he has a bigger head?"

"My helmet size is small and this band fitted easily. I had to remove the peak though, but it's winter and I don't expect to be troubled by the sun too much!
The chequered band is apparently very bright and highly visible in traffic. Those following me on unlit roads affirm this. The downside is that the chequered band make you look a bit like a copper which is something one should always try to avoid."

Does what is says on the tin!
"Simple and effective; it provides good reflectivity high up.
Grips well on my helmet, there's no way it will come loose.

360 degree visibility at night

"This helmet band is excellent. A bit expensive, but makes you visible from any angle.
For me side visibility has always been an issue, especially approaching roundabouts. This definitely helps. Cars can't miss me and give me more space. Also noticed a difference when approaching junctions and roundabouts. Note this maybe the colour scheme as it makes you look like a policeman in Australia.
Fitting is easy, you just need to gently stretch it out a bit before stretching over your helmet."

Best Hi-viz that I have!
Pros: it makes people look twice
"This has been great!
I've put various things on my bike and on myself to make myself more visible. double tail lights, double head lights, hi viz vest, hi viz belts, reflective stickers.
But this is the most effective of all of them.
I dont know if it's because of the checkered pattern so that people think I'm the police (in oz) but I see them slow down and do a double take.
So yes best hi-viz purchase ever."

"Ideal for a bit of all-round extra visibility, having this wrapped around your lid just makes sense. It reflects even low amounts of incident light, so even catching the streetlights or the edge of a car's headlights is enough. Very worthwhile investment."

Tight fit

"When this arrived I thought it was never going to fit my helmet as I couldn't see how it would work on a helmet with a plastic visor at the front. I gradually eased it into place until it stretched over the uppermost part of the sloping visor fully expecting it to slide striaght up the slope and come off but amazingly it has stayed put. This did take sevaral minutes as I was trying to be really gentle in case I had to send it back and its probably not how its meant to fit. As I can't see myself riding along in the dark I can't really say how visible it makes me but I trust that its as reflective as the similar ankle bands. My head doesn't feel any warmer so good for summer but a full helmet cover with reflectors may be a better idea for rainy and cold days."

"Visibility is crucial to avoiding accidents, and every little bit helps. This band adds visibility in an important place -- high up, where it will be seen even when my bike and lower body is obscured by an SUV or mini-van. The band stretches to fit around my "L" size helmet and, once on, is not going to slip. Not the most stylish accessory, and not sure if I can take it off and on repeatedly without damaging it ... so for this winter it stays on my commuting helmet."

"Not much more to say than this product works. It is very bold in design (I have the checkerboard) and lights up like a christmas tree in any lights. You will definitely be seen with this and as it's on your head it is visible from most angles and is at a good height to increase your chances of being seen.

"I bought this because I cylce home from work with my toddler daughter in a bike seat on the back - I wanted to make myself extra visible from all directions.
