transformation
Pros: Comfortable, Rugged, High Quality
"I have a 'bog standard' hybrid Dawes bike which i use for commuting. the frame is alloy with steel forks which I have replaced with these kinesis alloy forks. The ride has been transformed. Positive feel to steering, much smoother over road bumps. less heavy on the front and definitely easier on the steep climbs."

lightweight and good alternative
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile
"Because under 700 grams, I think good alternative to a Carbon fork. If you have a cyclocross bike and are looking for a fork more suitable for road use look no further, I think it actually improves riding off road too. Can't really find anything bad to say"

"Although it still going to be some time before I actually can test ride these forks.. need a complete bike for that, I can already say that it is light and looks well built and sturdy.
Can't wait to be riding it!"

Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Versatile, Good Fit
"Bought these to replace the steel forks on my cotic road rat which were frightening. These are great: they are no lightweights but lighter than steel and are used for touring/commuting with 700c discs. No flex or waywardness, resaonably sharp handling even with heavy wheels, good finish, have canti-bosses too. No low-rider bosses if that bothers you and hard to fit m/guards with discs on but hey, they seem god to me."

real brilliant
Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"Got the disk model for my cross cycle.
So light(weight), so comfortable, so....cheap (yeah!)))
Good choice instead of cheap carbon.
The best choice for its price. The real brilliant!

what the doctor ordered
Pros: Lightweight
"Given that this is the cheapest set of forks I could find that had a bracket for disc brakes, I am pretty impressed - it's made the bike much more what I wantyed in the first place - nippy, tight, and much lighter than it was with shocks. One niggle - if it's set up with a bracket for discs, why are there lugs for conventional brakes too? That's silly."

Posted May 16, 2012
I just ordered a set of these forks - I should have ordered the forks for V brakes but made a mistake and ordered the forks for disc brake set up - I hope my ones arrive with the fittings for v brakes !

Nice fork
Pros: Attractive, Good Fit, Great Value, Lightweight
"Under 700 grams for the non-disk fork. Stiff. Good alternative to a Carbon fork. Just as light as most carbon forks with aluminum steerers.
I did get some fork vibrations, stopping, when rims were wet. This vibration has not happened at a cross race, only brakeing hard for test purposes."

A fine piece of kit.
Pros: Comfortable, Good Fit, Lightweight
"I bought this to replace the bulky and squishy Suntour suspension fork on my spare bike (Claude Butler Urban 400), as an alternative to replacing the Boardman Hybrid that was pinched from University.
It's changed the whole feel of the bike, the front end has dropped giving much tighter steering, and the bike feels much peppier overall. The only slight concern I have to pass on, it's dropped the bottom bracket height a good bit more than I anticipated. I've been around roundabouts at a good pace and not grounded a pedal, but it's something to be aware of when hopping up chunky kerbs. I can't fault the forks for it, as they're Cyclocross kit and don't state 'Suspension corrected' anywhere... I dont think :$
Good gear!"

Crosslight 3 Alloy Fork

Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged, impoves ride
Cons: no low rider mounts
"I bought the Crosslight 3 Alloy Fork to replace my carbon cross fork which is itself great for off road cross racing and I thought great on the road too until I fitted the Crosslight 3, wow, what a difference. This fork changed the feel of the bike dramatically and for the better, steering became more precise, braking improved due to the more rigid feel of the fork, and the bike itself feels more solid, the fork is also reasonably light weight but feels very strong. My main purpose for buying the fork was so I could fit a full mudguard up front for winter road riding and and also make the bike more suitable for loaded touring, which it has. If you have a cyclocross bike fitted with carbon cross forks and are looking for a fork more suitable for road use look no further, I think it actually improves riding off road too. My only regret is that no mounts are fitted for low rider front pannier racks."

Kinesis Croslight 3 Alloy fork review
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"I fitted this fork on my Trek 7300 2009 model after finding the suspension fork unnecessary and too heavy for commuting and touring. I have done several miles at local rides since fitting the fork and it has been very tough and light also. After 2 months and about 1000 miles this fork can be the term for solid reliability. I recently had a nasty fall at 27 mph. The fork is completely undamaged. I find it flexible enough also. It can handle V brake power without any problems and fit wheel-set and tires up to 700 x 35 cc. I ride to my work daily on middle condition roads (dirt and city roads). The fork swallows bad conditions and keeps the bike calm. I am surprised how good the comfort is. If you brake extremely hard it can feel a little bit soft, but without loosing its reliability . Comparing to more Hi-End carbon forks only weight difference can be a distinction. This is a must have for anyone looking to buy a solid fork."

No complaints
Pros: Attractive, Good Fit, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"So far I've liked this fork very much. Not much heavier than the Bontrager carbon fork I had on my bike (Trek 7.5FX) earlier. Was worried about comfort though (carbon vs alu) but so far the difference hasn't been too bad (might be the GP1 grips that counterweight the lower comfort of alu fork compared to carbon).
Can't really find anything bad to say. The looks was better than I expected by the photos. Everything I expected and maybe even more. I feel I got value for my money, but didn't do extensive price comparisons on other brands/models so didn't mark value as excellent."
