Essential purchase
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged, Versatile
"As previous reviewers have said, if you have a turbo trainer you need one of these. And it's good value too considering the quality. The very clever design has 3 different heights built-in so you can help vary your training - you can even stack them to give more variation, possibly useful for high intensity climbing training.
Looks pretty "bombproof" to me and really helps keep the bike stable, especially when trying to sprint out of the saddle! A sound purchase..."

Great product - sturdy and well designed
Pros: Adjustable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged, Versatile
"I needed a riser block for my new Elite Chrono Turbo Trainer and having read some other reviews i opted for the CycleOps.
its a great bit of kit, VERY stable in use and has 3 height variations to choose from.
You can even stack another one on top and then you have another 6 height options. mind you, due to then interlocking tabs on the base of the unit you actually have 9 variations as there is a set of tabs on the bottom that allows you to link these risers back to back.
check my video review to see what i mean by the tabs.
anyway, i chose this because others i had looked at didnt seem to have the height variation. Also, this block can take a mountain bike tyre up to about 2.5 in width ! very useful indeed."

Very handy product
Pros: Durable, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Bulky
"The CycleOps Riser Block come with 3 size settings. It is simple, easy to use but effective. The only down side is its large size. You wouldn’t think it from the picture but it is very big, although it is made from plastic and not heavy at all."

ヒルクライムトレーニングに最適
Pros: 魅力的, 丈夫さ, 軽量さ
Cons:

Excellent piece of kit
Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: none
"This was bought to stabilize the front end of my Genesis Core 30 when used with a Turbo trainer. It locates the front wheel rock solidly, and has three height settings depending on which way around you put it. This in conjunction with adjustable travel forks can give you a tailor made riding position. Use it with the forks locked out if this is an option. It will take all tyre widths as the locating slots taper from wide to narrow at the bottom. Sturdily constructed, very well thought out, this is a durable piece of reasonably priced top quality kit."

No more Stiff Neck
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Adjustable, Good Fit
Cons: creaks a bit
"Bought this as a alternative to the skyliner that came with my Tacx Bushido - the Tacx one really didn't lift the wheel anywhere near enough, and sticking it on a pile of phone directories was defeating the object - so took a punt on this one - riser had a few different heights, so you can fine tune the amount of lift you need for your comfort. Creaks a bit when you stand up to climb some of the 15% virtual slopes that the Tacx throws at you, but then again, so do I ;-)"

Probably should be included with Cyclops Turbo
Pros: Durable, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"This provides the neccessary steady block for your front wheel when using turbo, graded wheel slots to imitate increasing gradients. In reality there is little noticeable difference between the three."

Leveller
Pros: Durable, Comfortable, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"Bought one of these instead of plonking the front wheel on a couple of telephone directories. It appears expensive given that its a bit of plastic but on reflection worth money for the stability and fact that it has three separate height/incline receptors. Makes the turbo sessions a little more comfortable. It will fight a road or MTB tyre so versatile if swapping bikes on the turbo."

Better than phone books
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"This is what you need if you want to have your bike on that training frame, it holds it steady and has 3 settings a cheap good bit of kit that will do hte job"

A riser block that fits 650c wheels
Pros: Great Value, Good Fit
Cons: Bulky
"This is a good riser block for 650c wheels. Such that I don't have to use phone books to prop up like the Minoura Mag Riser.
However, the bottom is bare plastic. So don't put it on a wooden floor without a mat."

Takes a bit of the hassle out of training
Pros: Durable, Good Fit
"I used to prop my front wheel on a diy manual! But this was not ideal for stability, or my home improvements! For frequent turbo sessions at the end of a long day, this well designed bit of kit keeps everything stable and easy to get the bike in the right position. Highly recommended."

Worth the extra money
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Adjustable
"Not the cheapest, but very well made - secure when putting the hammer down and the option of different heights is useful not only for hill climbing but also for balancing the angle of the bike if you have a non-big brand turbo."

"Really good bit of kit (though, to be fair, the only wheel block I've used!)
It has 3 different heights so you can angle your bike to help imagine that you're climbing Tourmalet or spinning through Flanders (every little thing helps when trying to fight the tedium of indoor training!) It doesn't slip but it will move if you yank the handlebars (I've got a tiled floor) which is also quite good - you're riding a BIKE, not one of those spinning class things after all! It's nice and solid and seems pretty bombproof.
Also has gutters and a little well to collect some sweat... at least that's what I use mine for! Saves a little bit of mopping the floor afterwards :)"

Exactly what it says on the tin
Pros: Great Value, Lightweight
"Spoke to other riders in work who use yellow pages or wooden blocks...but i decided against it. This was a great purchase and even better considering you can change the height in which you're riding. Cheap as chips too."

Great Block!
Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Good Fit
"Does exactly what it's supposed to. Three different heights adds an extra dimension over other riser blocks. Good solid bit of kit!"
