Awesome comfort and grip

"Our roads are so rough in Australia. Cinelli grip is perfect for us. They absorb so much vibration adn are so comfortable to hold and feel nice and soft. They are grippy and I have never slipped/lost grip. I admit I used twice the recommended amount i.e 1 roll to wrap 1 half of the drop bar, and 1 roll to wrap the 1 half of the upper handle bar. I did this as I wanted extra cushioning and it works out fine. It isnt too thick and I only have average hand size. Top product and I will use again if I need to tape my handlebars again."

"Wear gloves. I ride fixed with no gloves and this tape just feels sketchy. Slippin and sliding all over the bars.

"Comfortable and well cushioned. No adhesive on the back of the tape just a non slip coating . Needs a touch of Prit Stick or similar to stop it slipping."

As good as any other tape that I have tried

"This was easy to fit, and long enough to cope with my "wing" bars. I agree with one of the previous posts, the tacky gel, rather than adhesive, is great for re-positioning.
Cushioning is great and so is the colour - obviously I cannot comment upon the colour fastness yet, having only had the tape for a few weeks.

"The tape I received didn't have any sticky stuff on the under side just grippy silicone. At first I thought this might be a duff batch, but when I used it it was fine. Better than fine in fact because you can use it again if you need to remove it for any reason. It's really comfy and not to bulky, and really easy to install. I would definitely buy it again."

"The gel in this tape works really well at cushioning road shock without adding much thickness. The tape can also be removed and rewrapped without destroying it. length is generous enough to wrap 46cm bars up to 2cm from the stem for climbing. I wont be buying anything else in future. Great value at only a small premium over the non gel tape."

"I liked this tape so much that I got some more for my other bike. I found that by leaving the old non gel bar tape in place and over wrapping it with the new gel tape, produced the best results. I do not have particularly big hands but still found the extra bar width to be comfortable and provided highly effective cushioning for our pot holed U.K. roads! The Cinelli gel tape does not have a sticky back adhesive like some tapes and this works in its favour, enabling you to re-wrap the tape if it ever slips out of place."

"I replaced the cheap tape that came with my Battaglin C11 and it has made a great diffrence in comfort. Altough I had never done it before, it was very easy to tape it, it is very stretchy and no need to be afraid... it wont brake. I was not happy with the winding on the leftside bar, so I made it again and again untill I got it right, no problems. It feels and looks great too. I wash the bike after every ride and the tape is still looking like new. Maybe a little pricy but high quality too!"

Saved me from being Hand-Crippled

"Cinelli Gel Cork Tape probably saved me from becoming a Hand Cripple during the Paris Roubaix Challenge. Having not ridden the pave before I was advised to buy this as a second grip on my bars to dampen the impact of the cobbles. I found it super comfortable and to be a good fit. Nothing prepares you for the impact on your hands from the cobbles but this certainly helped even though I still found my hand turned into a claw after each section. It could have been a lot worse."
