Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Good Fit, Lightweight, Versatile
"I decided that my stroke through the water was not possibly the most efficient and reviewing a number of tri magazines decided on some hand paddles to maximise the power output from my arms, and best use of the swimming leg in the tri's I take part in. Having used these for only a few weeks, I can say that they have made me realise a number of things; the first being that my stroke through the water was not as fluid as it should be; secondly that I was not pulling through the stroke in the correct manner. Both of these I conitnue to work on and use the paddles regularly to remind me of what I should be doing. I do belong to a masters swim club, but no matter of talking to the experts in the team, made me fully aware of what I was doing wrong. I also use them on back stroke"

Highly Recommended
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable
"I recently purchased the large hand paddles to assist in training for the swim phase in triathlon.
The paddles fit my hands well, however, my hands are relatively small. The paddles also comfortable and easy to use.
They have helped massively by making me focus on troke mechanics by making the stroke slower and highlighting the main weaknesses."

perfect for strengthening arms
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
"as a size guide, i have hands that measure 6.5 inches from the wrist to the top of my middle finger, and i have to S (yellow) paddles which are perfect. the straps are adjustable so you can tighten or loosen as appropriate. great for just strengthening arms in a lesser number of laps."

I chose large, maybe too large
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
"These are my first paddles, but they work fine. I might suggest taking the small ones, if a beginner - it is very easy to drop your elbow with the large ones, if your are not focussing completely on it. And your frequency is also quite low with the large ones.
That being said they provide a great shoulder and arm work out!"

"These things take a bit of getting used to, but it is starting to make my stroke feel more powerful. Inexpensive addition to vary swim drills.
If they work and my swim times come down then they will get a 5 star rating."

Sound buy
Pros: Comfortable, Adjustable
Cons: Unattractive
"Looked a little bit primitive in terms of the fixing system to the hand. this does not detract from the quality though. They work exactly as they should do and have not failed. Good product and inexpensive"

Perfect !!
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, Adjustable, Good Fit
"As expected, quality product. Have been using friends paddles up until recently they really work well and are comfortable. Its a pity the pull buoy doesn't come with these as they come hand in hand whilst training."

Better than the Speedo paddles
Pros: Adjustable, Good Fit
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"Having tried a fellow squad member's Speedo paddles and hated them, I can report that these are much better - more comfortable and natural feeing. But they are not as good as the old school paddles that I had as a kid - I think they were Eyeline brand (they were old school and extremely basic, but felt better than the new fangled shaped paddles we have these days)."

Hard on the hands
Pros: Durable, Adjustable
"These are really good and I can feel the difference to my stroke quite quickly. They are fiddly to set up and if you don't get it right first time a bit fiddly to adjust but once they fit they are great. You look a bit daft in the pool and splash a bit more as they impact your stroke. They definitely gave me a better arm work out and my hands were a bit sore the first few times I used them."

Size is for effort not hand size
Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
"Since buying these I've read that you should choose the size for your level rather than hand size – larger = more advanced.
These certainly make you more aware of your hand posistion in the water. There is nothing specifically negative about this product that made me give it a 4 rather than a 5 star, just as my first pair I can't give top marks when I've nothing to compare it to."

Pros: Great Value, Lightweight

Great beginner paddles
Pros: Durable, Adjustable
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"I think these are quite good for anyone starting to train with paddles. They are not too big, which means you put less pressure on your shoulders at first. You can always purchase bigger ones, once you built your strength."

might have problems in some swimming pools
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Adjustable, Good Fit
"Do exactly what theyre meant to do and for a very reasonable price. It isnt a criticism of the product but you may find some swimming pools don't like the plastic paddles and insist on the rubber ones"
