Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged, Versatile
"I got these to give my steel bike a semi-classic look with downtube levers (Wiggle...add the 10-speed Dura-Ace levers to the lineup!) and was initially dumbfounded at the very cheap price believing this was for one single brake and almost ordering two. Happy surprise to find out this was indeed the price for a PAIR of these magnificent brakes!
I understand that the shape of the hood is an exact copy of the Campagnolo Record and the fit really works fantastic on hillclimbs out of the saddle, very comfortable and secure-feeling.
The "Campa" release pin is also very convenient when swapping wheels. I use Shimano brakes on my steel bike and this give double leeway so one could easily mount fat tires if one wanted.
The lizard pattern in the rubber hood functions as anti-slip and the lizard etched in the lever itself looks very cool too."

Great value lever!
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Great Value, High Quality, Rugged
"These are REALLY great value brake levers! Second cheapest road lever wiggle offers but you wouldn't know it to use them. The day after I put them on I did a 40km ride and they were comfortable on the hoods, responded well when braking and looked great on the bike. If you're overly worried about weight they may not be for you, but in terms of build quality, looks, usability and price, these are unbeatable!!"

Simple Reliable and a Bargain

Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Good Fit
"I wanted some good quality reliable Brake Levers, to return my old Claud Butler Tourer to his former glory.
These Cane Creek Levers are something of a bargain, they look great on the bike, work very well and are quite easy to cable and setup. The hoods are perhaps a little wider than the Shimano 105s I am used to on my ‘summer bike’ but for touring and commuting they are just fine.
Overall I have been very pleased with the way ‘Claud’ has come back to life ... enough for me to decide to treat him to a new paint job next Spring."
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Rugged, Adjustable, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive, Limited Color Choices
"great feeling in the hand in the drops and on the hoods. easy to install and routes the cables under the hoods. perfect upgrade if your vintage levers wear out."

Very comfortable
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Good Fit
"Bought these to replace a pair of old DiaCompe which must have been at least 20 years old. Slightly more chunky on my narrow diam Cinelli bars, circa about the same age, but easy to fit and much more comfortable to use. Replaced calipers with Tektra long drops at the same time, system works well, but check depth of drop before buying these calipers !"

Good brakes, good value
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable
"I bought a 1976 Stan Pike road bike and the existing brakes worked fine, but as someone who likes to ride on the hoods, they were very, very uncomfortable.
These beauties were: easy to fit (I'm not a very good mechanic) look the part on my vintage bike good quality
People have said that they were heavy, but they only weighed exactly the same as the brakes I took off."

Nice simple brake levers
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Good Fit
"I purchased these levers for a single speed conversion and they do the job nicely. They fit well to some bars that I flopped and chopped. The actual lever is quite ergonomic with a left and right side and feel nice in my hands when riding. They were easy to fit, however the hoods are quite rigid and when you fold them back to fit your bar tape, they have a tendency to try to unfold so a second pair of hands were required. The cables fed through simply. When riding , they levers fit my hands well and perform to my satisfaction. i would use these again for future builds/replacements."

Great value
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged
"Bought a pair of these to replace the old levers on a second-hand Raleigh I picked up. In the middle of the refit so haven't yet been used on the road, but they seem great. Look good and the hoods are comfy. As usual, a great Wiggle price!"

Excellent for replacing levers on old road bikes
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable
"I bought these to replace a pair of levers on a 20 year old road bike, mostly to improve comfort on the hoods. This was an unmitigated success: the bike feels a lot more comfortable and the brakes a lot more precise."

Pros: Comfortable
"Very comfortable hood and lever. Good match for your left hand if using a single Shimano STI set up with down tube gear lever for front shifts. Far, far more comfortable than a Shimano non STI brake lever. Appears to be the same as a Tektro brake lever (apart from the pattern on the rubber hoods) but if tempted to buy Tektro make sure you know what you're buying... they also sell a version for V brakes that looks almost identical. Look for the position of the lever piviot... it's lower down for the V brake model."

Great levers!
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable
"Can't help but agree with the other reviewers, these are great levers, particularly for the price. Comfortable hoods, nice action, release pins make wheel removal easier. Mine have the black levers, which look really good. If you have a retro steed that needs some new levers, then look now further!"

Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality
"Look great, and perform perfectly. I really have been so happy with these levers, they are everything i wanted them to be, and for this price, I'm so glad I didn't spend any more just for the sake of it. They feel solid, and very comfortable to use. I had never heard of Cane Creek before, so for anyone with doubts, this is a great cheap part."

upgrade for a vintage road bike
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Good Fit
"I recently bought an old road bike and everything was great apart from the brake levers which seemed to rely more on the Jedi Force than leverage. So I looked around and found these beautiful levers from Cane Creek. They work very well, look sweet and are really comfortable. For 30 quid you just can't go wrong with these bad boys. The only draw back I can think of is that it may well lead to further purchases and upgrades which may nullify the good value of these levers. BUY SOME!"

Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable
"These are a top quality set of brake levers. At first I thought they were too thick at the base and may have been uncomfortable, but the opposite is true, and so I highly recommend them."

Do not buy these for V Brakes
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable
Cons: Low Quality
"Bought these by mistake. Wrongly assumed they would work with V Brakes. V-Brakes require a greater cable pull which these don't provide. Be aware these the main housing of these levers are made of plastic. This surprised me given the quality hinted at by other reviewers. For now they sit in the spares drawer. These levers I would only rate as an entry level component."
