"I'd tried a few different sizes, including the ergo types, but due to "massive" hands i couldn't get on with them.
So back to the nice and simple, these are perfectly shaped and sized for my large hands, and can let me flex my hands on longer rides, reducing the pain.
That and it makes it one heck of a lot easier to ride up hills :)
Only let down is the handlebar end plugs that come with the pack, had them fall out twice now. Need to change them for ones that properly lock in/"

Better than expected.
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"Bought these as needed to make my mtb a bit more comfortable for a long distance on and off road event over several days and as cheaply as possible. I bolted these on and found them to be very well made and hardly had to move my grips or controls. Once bolted on these are very solid and surprisingly comfortable despite their rugged design. So far I cannot find any negatives, they are light, strong, comfortable for big hands, don't make your bike look like an ox and pretty cheap. Some have mentioned the bar end caps can fall out of the end of your bars easily, I haven't had this a problem but for peace of mind a contact adhesive would keep them in. A GREAT PRODUCT."

too small for me...
Cons: Poor Fit, Limited Color Choices, too small to fit my hands comfortably
"I don't have big hands, but found that the bend was too close to the handlebar, so couldn't get a comfortable position to hold.
The top bent section is also too small to hold as a forward position.
138grams a pair, 28mm in diameter, but only 60mm from front of bar to bend of bar end, so way too short to get my hands on... 100mm top to bottom in total.
Not to my style, but if your hands fit, they'd be fine.
Well made tho..."

Bar Ends
Pros: Comfortable, Rugged, High Quality, Lightweight
"After reading the problems of X-Lite's 2 piece bar end construction, I opted for a single piece, though welded, bar end. These bar ends are strong and solid and give a comfortable range of riding positions - they were cheapest on this site. Delivery etc was excellent and I would recommend the product and service"

Great Product
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight
"I was looking for something to give me an alturnative position for my hands as i was getting some numbness on the longer rides, The tioga power studs are a nice compact size without being to small and look good on the bike. After using them for a few weeks it has become clear this was a positive purchase as no more numbness in my hands due to being able to change my grip continuously during my rides, it has also added more comfort while climing hills. Overall a great product which I would highly recomend."

A Let Down
Pros: Attractive, Rugged, High Quality
Cons: Not Enough Features
"I was really excited about this product purely for the 2-3 diferent hand positions it looked to offer. Unfortunately the uprite and the angled bar are to small, so it makes it very uncomfortable to hold especially when your going uphill out of the saddle."

Nice Bit of Metalwork
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Rugged, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: fit could be better
"These bar-ends are well put together, easy to fit and look the part. As a hybrid rider who alternates between road, rough tracks and everything inbetween, I need to vary my hand position - not just for comfort on the trail, but to keep my wrists supple for guitar practice. This piece of kit allows me two or three good, additional hand positions. My only niggle is size - my hands aren't that big for a bloke and I could use a few more centimetres for a better and comfier grip."

Geriatric aid!
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Versatile, Good Fit
Cons: suspect long term durability
"After 40 years of car driving, I am rediscovering the joys of cycling. I am too stiff for a racing handlebar so these bar ends with the bend are an excellent compromise when its heads down climbing or just to have a choice of hand holds on the flat. Also gives hands a sense of protection as they cover the knuckles. Nice black finish to enhance my black straight handlebar. Easy to fit. My only concern is that the weld on the bent joint looks a bit rough but seems strong enough."

Good purchase
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Lightweight
"Simple but effective, these bar studs allow a diffrent position which can be helpful on long rides and also give a better pull on hill climbs. They were simple to fit - just took a few mins and I was a little concerned they might swivel with a hard pull, but no problems arose and I have now been using them a few weeks."

Tioga Power Studs
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Rugged, Lightweight
"Well made solid and light, makes up-hill climbs a little easier to power through. Have some issues with them getting in the way when standing on the pedals and going downhill feathering the brakes, I like to use two fingers on each brake but there is not enough room on the end of the bars. Playing around with the set up at the moment, moving brake levers and the angle of the studs. Think this would be an issue with any bar ends. Overall if looking for a good value, well made set I would recommend these."

Good protection
Pros: Durable, Rugged, High Quality
"I do a lot of cycling in wooded areas and these give excellent hand protection from tree strikes. I like to use the motorcycle enduro technique of wobbling the bars to avoid trees rather than steering around them and these bar ends give me the confidence to do that. The paint is pretty tough but does inevitably scratch up in use, and they are quite comfortable to use as an alternative hand position."

Avoid If You Have Big Hands
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Lightweight
Cons: Unattractive
"The first bar ends I have used, I bought the Tioga Power Studs primarily because of the excellent value for money they offered. Not the neatest looking product some of the welding on the ninety degree join looks rough, however, I have not noticed any negative affect on comfort when riding. Easy to attach and providing a really sturdy grip for an alternative riding position the only negative is that the grips are quite short. If you have big hands I would avoid these, however, as the first bar ends I have used they offer good value for money."

Pulling Power!
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged
"Added these to my MTB and what a difference! Lightweight, sturdy, easy to install, looks great and such a great help with climbing. Also allows for multiple hand positions preventing tired hands on the longer trips!"
