best little studs ever

"Surprisingly effective studs.
I have combined these with my Ergon grips. I found the end bars that came with the Ergons to be very poor quality - - they slipped and moved; and ultimately they were too large for the bike in its folded state anyway ( as an aside, to be honest, whilst i like the actual Ergon grips, I wish i had not bought the expensive end-bar combo as have been disappointed overall) , so seeing these Tiogas seemed like a chance to experiment at making the Ergon grips work again.
The Tioga studs workkbrilliantly on a folding bike. Surprisingly well made, they feel silky smooth to handle -- I was anticipating needing to wear gloves but it isn't necessary. The screws that hold the studs onto the bars could do with being recesses as they stick out and ruin an otherwise excellent product. The really reaonable price makes these something i would highly recommend."

"I love these things. I haven't ridden my mountain bike in a long time as I've been concentrating on road riding. What I missed from my road bike was being able to change my grip on the bars and particularly hold onto the brake hoods whilst going up hill. These little studs are perfect. You hold them with clenched fists. They're a lot more subtle looking than the full size ones and more comfortable to use.
The bad thing is that I've got the black ones and they scratch so easily. The silver ones will too but I expect not show up as much."

too short for me...
Cons: too short to be useful
"Wiggle sent me these in error when I ordered a pair of Tioga Power Studs XS Bar Ends.
These are around 120g per pair, 28mm in diameter but only project 52mm away from the handlebar (total length of ~78mm). For a pair of barends to grab and use for attacking climbs they are just too small (and I don't have big hands).
They might be of use to rest your hands on as an alternative position, but you don't need barends to rest here - not sure who these are aimed at except kids with tiny hands. But well made..."

"These are easy to install, stop my handlebar grips from sliding off the end of my handlebars, and help to mix up the grip I use on longer rides. Seem well made, are just big enough for the job and give the impression that they won't budge without a lot of effort."

Big hands - small studs OK

"Trek 4600 MTB.
I have big hands and wanted something to change position on my flat bars, but I didn't want huge horns! I moved shifters and brakes along the bar and slid the grips on enough to fit the Studs. This kept the grip-width I needed.
I like these small studs; you can simply grip them or cover them, and it is quick, safe, and easy to get onto the controls.
Excellent really, happy to recommend."

"These are really great.
The small length doesn't spoil the look of your bike, and there's many different ways you can grip them - this makes your ride a lot more counfertable.
They are also great for when your climbming or sprinting. I got them for the Coast 2 Coast challenge and didn't regret it."

"What great littlle bar ends!!
I've never been a fan of the big bar ends, I always found that they some how seem to get in the way and look a bit cumbersome.
But these are a different story, small enough that you don't really know there there, but come into there own when you need them on a hill climb!
What I like about these is you don't feel like your holding onto the horns of a bull or two lengths of scaffolding!!!!
