Great entry level....

"Purchased this as a present for my partner (as such I had to do the instal and set up).
Installing all the parts was really easy, bracket for the actual computer feels a little cheap, but no major issue. Also worth noting that the bracket for the computer fixes to the bars with cable ties so attaching it to the head stem was nice and easy as well as being much more tidy.
Setup was a breeze, up and running with about three button presses.
It's a fairly basic computer, but does all you really need for recreational use, the display is easy enough to read and it's cheap (on wiggle at least about 1/3 of the retail price here)."

Great kit!!
Pros: Great Value, very clear screen
"Dead simple to fit. Very responsive and a clear display. Ok there are maybe a few functions it doesn't have but do you really want to know how few calories you actually burnt off on the ride. At least if you don't know then you can pretend that the piece of cake was justified!!"

"Clear screen, relatively simple instructions. Was easy to fit and seems to work ok. Have only ridden round the garden so far to test it but speedo works. May write some more once I get out and about."

"This little computer is a gem, I did not want to wear a watch, I wanted to know how far I was travelling and how long it was taking me. It is a great companion I am only a novis but is really drives me on to cycle further and faster each week. My mate fitted it in minutes. Good value for money."

"This bike computer came with clear instructions and was really easy to fit as a result. The wireless element was great as there was no fiddling around to calibrate you just enter the circumfrence of the wheel and it does it all for you!
Not having owned a bike computer before i was constantly checking the display to check out my speed! it is easy to read and swich between display screens.
the monitor is small so shouldn't pose too much of a air turbulence issue and it was easy to fit onto the handle bars.
i would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a simple computer to show basic speed, time and distance. it is extremly good value for money. the only downside is that you would need to purchase more plastic ties if you wanted to move the computer or sensor or move it to a different bike."

Great simple computer for kids bike
Pros: easy operation
"I bought this for my 10 year old son as he now has his first road bike. Single button simple operation meant he was up and running instantly.
Measures exactly the same as my 'much more expensive' computer"

"This cycle computer is perfect for my type of cycling, it has a clear display and one button operation makes switching modes very simple. Fixing to the bike took less than 15 minutes and is pretty straight forward. This computer does not give average speed data which maybe important for some people."

"I purchased this Cycle Computer as I am training for a race towards the end of the year. I have never used one before and felt that to get my pacing correct this was the way forward.
There are many computers out there and I did not want to get one too complicated, and this one certainly fits that description. Simple to use very basic but all you need. Being wireless meant easy to install and the instructions were very clear. The fixings are simple and the computer has taken a lot of battering on downhill sections and stayed in place."

"This is a nice mid range bike computer for the price.
Easy installation (unless you break a cable tie).
Easy to operate on a single big button, s you don't have to take your eye's off the road.
Big display for the optically challenged of us veloist's.
Oh yeah it's wireless no need for tacky wires hanging here and there.
No con's as yet but weather proofing idea's would be welcomed (rain etc)."

Competent cycling computer

"If you need a basic computer to tell you how far you have gone and the time this is the one for you. It is missing average speed and elasped time which can be useful but not sorely missed. It does the job without wires runnign down the forks.
Simple one button use is also a bonus for gloved hands. The display for distance can be a bit small for those of us getting older but needing reading glasses."

Does all you really need...

"Can't fault this Cateye. A computer that has all the main functions, at this price and wireless too, has to be a winner. Instructions are clear and simple, so fitting is a breeze.
In use it's functional and doesn't distract from what you're really there for... cycling.
Overall a great product. Such a good price, why bother with spare fitting kits for other bikes? I'd just get another Cateye."
