Not what it was
Pros: minimal
Cons: loose fit needs a bit of mechanicing
"Bought this to save swapping my original ten year old Etrex handle bar mount between bikes, and I can confirm that my original mount is a much snugger fit than this new bracket. As stated in other reviews the fitting needs to be padded out (shimmed) with tape or paper to stop the GPS unit rattling around in use.
Seems Garmin aren't making the mount to the original close tolerances and it's easy to see just how sloppy it is when you've got the original to compare it to.
It does the job but at this price for a bit of moulded plastic you'd expect it to be better made."

Does the job!
Pros: Adjustable, Good Fit
"I have two of these , one on a road bike, one on a mountain bike. They hold the garmin device (forerunner 301) tightly in place and its easy to remove the device. The bar clamp works well on both round and tapered bars when using the rubber grippers supplied"

Be careful
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Expensive, Poor Fit
"My experience with this product is that like many cycle mount products it does not always hold the product securely. If its your bike pump that falls of fine but my forerunner has jumped out 3 times when hitting a bump in road and the last time was damaged beyond repair. I would recommend putting a cable tie on or similar as a back up. For the price of this piece of plastic a little more effort into a more secure attachment would have avoided this."

Bar Mount
Pros: Durable, Good Fit
"Good product.. Mount and GPS holder are separate pieces. Mount fixes on to handlebar then simply click your garmin into the holder then twist and lock holder into the mount. Easily removed and replaced for security"

Not quite a good fit
Pros: Adjustable, Durable, Good Fit, Rugged
Cons: Poor Fit
"I've had one of these before and they are terrific for holding your garmin on the handle bars. The backing plate slides in out of the handle bar mount easliy with a solid click when it locks into the mount. mine never moved on the bars or came out of the mount.
Here is my only gripe with this particular one, it was a replacement due to my bike being nicked with the mount on it. It states it is for the foretrex 201 but the side arms on the backing plate are to short to fit the foretrex and i've had to use the backing plate from my old one.
