a must have
Pros: Durable, High Quality
"If, like me, you prefer to keep your bikes dry during transport, a few of these mounted to a board in the back of a van or mini-van will do the trick!"

Pros: Great Value, Rugged, High Quality
"Great for mounting your bikes in the back of any flat bed vehicle. Works a treat in the back of my van. Good price at £15 and of course if you buy two separately you'll get two bags of haribo! :)"

Lacks fittings
Cons: lacks fittings
"When you buy a bike carrying system you expect it to have therequired bolts to use it...... but not with Saris.
Ibought the triple track and 5 fork mounts. Only supplied with bolts to mount 2 fork mounts leaving me three useless mounts. These bolts are a very specific shape to slide into the track and lock so you can fix the fork mounts.
Very disappointed indeed and suspect I'll just be returning the whole lot rather than spend the rest of my life looking for bolts to fit the track."

Saris Track Trap Bicycle Fork Mount (TR1BLK)
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Rugged, High Quality
Cons: comes without mounting bolts
"Bike racks for the roof are available for about AUD$180 - $230 in Australia. The Saris Track Trap Bicycle Fork Mount (TR1BLK) is available locally for about $60.
Purchasing through Wiggle costs half of this price, so I bought two units and it was still cheaper - delivered to the door in Victoria Australia.
Product quality is good and the unit is ready to bolt onto the roof racks of my car.
To complete the install: M8 nuts and bolts in black (5/16") Roof straps for the rear forks to the back roofrack. 8mm (5/16") Rubber grommets (filled) for the holes when mount is removed.
Happy cycling and dont forget to stop and unload BEFORE you enter your garage.
Mark."

Saris track trap mount
Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Rugged
"I bought 2 of these to mount my bikes in my transit Connect. When fitted to the rest of the system and bolted down properly the bikes are really secure and don't need any other form of fittings like straps etc. Top bit of kit and you dont have to sell a kidney to buy them. I'd recommend these to anyone with a van or similar vehicle."

Good value product
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Rugged
"Sturdy, well made, and excellent value for money. This has worked really well in the back of my VW Golf, making transporting my MTB much easier (saves on fuel ecomony because the bike is entirely inside the car). Does not come with mounting bolts and the quick release could be a bit quicker(!) - it isn't spring loaded so you have to screw the QR out to get the forks in and then screw the QR in quite a way to make the QR cam work properly. Don't be put off; this is no big deal, just a minor criticism."

Super value and effective
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"I was a little hesitant about purchasing this kind of bike holder as really they are meant to onto a track system. It turns out to be really versatile, basically before you fix in position make sure you have enough clearence eg roof of van etc. I then drilled 2 holes, put a nut and bolt through each and fixed it to the bulk head of my 2006 vw caddy van. You really could bolt these anywhere and for £15 an absolute bargain and great solution, holds my orbea orca 2011 firmly in position no chance of any damage to the bike. Very simple idea but hugely effective, would recommend very highly."

Does a decent job..
"I bought two of these to work in conjunction with a Saris Track which i've mounted to the bed of my Hilux truck. They work well and are easily moveable along the track using the supplied fixings (which come with the track - not the traps). I had to buy a 20mm Fork Up adaptor so that my Cube Fritzz can be mounted onto the 9mm skewers but it works well."
