A must have accessory for the bag
Pros: Adjustable, Durable, Good Fit, High Quality, Rugged, Versatile
"Waterproof. Well designed. Folds in half and fastens (via poppers) onto itself. I've used it for maps and to carry my pocket GPS. There really isn't any need to buy the separate GPS accessory. You do get what you pay for with this item."

Great map case
Pros: High Quality, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"Clips on well. Stays out of the way when folded over and easy to use when open. It should come with the handlebar bag."

Not what I thought it was
"No I would not recommend this. I've not been able to use it because it seems you need to have bought the front carrier bag as well - it did not say this on the web-site. I thought (from the description) that I could somehow attach it to the handle-bars so that I could easily read the map as I was going along. As it is I still keep my map in my pocket."

Takes a folded OS map without problems
Pros: High Quality
Cons: Expensive
"The cover is big enough to take a normally folded OS map. It is also waterproof. My Topeak map cover is too small - have to double-fold maps - and it is stitched so your map gets wet when rain gets through the needle holes. This product just does what it is supposed to do, not very exciting but important if you are touring."

Pros: High Quality
"Good product. Only slight problem is that it can flap over when cycling along and you have to flip it back."

Pros: waterproof
Cons: Expensive, Low Quality, fiddly to put onto bag, difficult to work out which way to put map in.
"I purchased it for our 4 day Munda Biddi trail ride from Collie to Dwellingup. The map case was completely waterproof and that is about the only good thing to say about it. Getting it onto the bar bag was a bit fiddly and working out which way to put the map into the bag without it being back to front or upside down required too many of my brain cells to get right first time every time. The other map holders that my companions had were far easier to get maps in and out."

Very good
Pros: High Quality, Rugged
Cons: Expensive
"From the two weeks I have had it I can say that I am pleased with the functioning and the construction - it's held together and kept everything dry despite the downpours. Also can cram it with maps (should you need to) without risk of spillage.
It is expensive, however..."

Extremely handy!
Pros: Durable, Attractive, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"A very useful buy! Big enough to hold all your bits like purse, documents, sunglasses, camera, tissues, tablets, cereal bars....It easily clips on and off. On a recent trip, it doubled as my handbag. I also bought the map case and found the two invaluable. Totally waterproof, too!"

not essential but really nice
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"everything about this product is ortlieb high quality, so if you want the fancy snaps and you've got the ortlieb handlebar bag already, might as well use this. if you don't care so much, a binder clip and ziplock/freezer bag might work just as well. the plastic is especially soft and clear..."

Useful extra
Pros: Rugged
"Useful waterproof way of displaying an area about the size of an A5 piece of paper when you are cycling showing your route if you have an Ortlieb bar bag. I had to replace my original map case after a few years when it became less transparent, it was good to be able to buy a replacement as with previous bar bags I had to replace the whole bar bag when the map holder became unusable"

Essential!
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Versatile, Good Fit
"I have been using an Ortlieb map case for hiking for years. They're the longest lasting and highly waterproof.
I can't work out why this would be cheaper than the hiking equivalent when, in addition, it comes with the press-studs to attach to a bar bag? Otherwise it's the same design and size as the hiker version. It has tags for a neck-cord, so can be used off the bike too.
Fits perfectly, doesn't flap in the wind, can be folded in half and also used folded out to give a larger view."
