Solid HRM

"I was looking for a basic and easy to use HRM whilst training for an Ironman. The watch is very easy to use and it took 30 mins of fiddling and RTM to master its functions. The strap is a huge improvement on the older style straps which consisted of elastic and a large platic chest strap which would often start to slide down your torso as the elastic fatigued.
In summary it as an excellent entry level HRM if you just require the basic functions."

"ハートレートが見やすいものを探して、定番のPolarを購入。
時刻、ハートレート、ラップタイム等一通り揃っていて、文字も大きく見やすい。
目標ハートレートゾーンを上回ったり、下回ったときにはアラームでお知らせする機能が便利。設定もさほど難しくないです。
胸に巻くベルトは水で濡らしてからつけるので、冷たいかと思ったら素材のせいかそんなにヒヤッとしない。別メーカーのものは朝一でつけるとき冷たくてちょっと躊躇してしまうため、その点はありがたい。"

Not much heart

"I bought this monitor as a replacement for my trusty Polar RS400 which like its owner has seen better days.
I decided I no longer needed all the gimmicks of the 400 and would be happy with a basic model which just told me my heart rate so I was delighted to see the RS100 which i assumed would be the same quality as the 400 but with fewer gimmicks.

Sadly it doesn't have the quality despite being quite expensive for a base model. Instruction book is useless, online and the one in the box. Buttons don't perform as stated and the display is very small, difficult to read when running. Disappointed with just about all of it."

"First hrm, needed few basic functions. this is spot on for my recreational purposes, running and cycling. I was looking at other watches too but after reading reviews and description of its functions I decided to buy this one. I'm extremly pleased with it. Good quality, solid materials, looks durable and I think it will be. easy to use,after half an hour you'll get the hang of it. Chest strap is very comfortable,few minutes after you put it on you'll forget about it. Never had any problems with transmission between wrist unit and sensor. Buy it,you wont regret."
