Great!
Pros: Attractive, Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Rugged
"After many days of research on the best locking plan for my bike i came up with the Pin Head QR kit and this lock. Its minimal in the sense it would lock 2 bikes together, or round a big diameter post, but for most uses it'll be perfect. I use it for the "rear wheel to post" technique and its perfect. This way doesn't leave to much "slack" for the would be thief to get tools into like the longer D locks and the size makes it useful to hook to your let if you don't want to carrying any bags when you go out for a ride (if you don't use the holder that is-but i find they rattle about a lot)."

Secure, relatively portable
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, relatively light
Cons: heavy as all good locks are.
"If you've got a skinny bike and a skinny railing you regularly use, then these are fine. There's not much jack-space to for naughty boys to prise the lock off, and it'll fit in your rucksack reasonably easy.
If you're cycling on the hoof and don't know where you're going to end up, however, it's so small that it might limit your parking choices, but if you bear in mind that this is probably the lightest SoldSecure Silver lock you'll find, it's probably worth it."

Useful lock
Pros: High Quality
Cons: Unadjustable, Bulky, Poor Fit
"The lock is fine but fitting the bracket is a pain in the bum. If fact, i have given up fitting the bracket on the bike."

"Nice size, much easier to carry around compared to a full sized D-lock. The blue light on the key has also been helpful."

Great little lock
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Good Fit
"With a lock this size, chuck the mounting bracket in the bin and put it in your backpack. It fits easily into the front pocket of mine.
I liked the small size as it is just long enough to put around a rack/post and the bike frame. This keeps the bike securely in place as there is no slack to allow it to be moved around. I also assume that it makes it more difficult to pop the lock if you can't fit any tools in the gap. Bike theft doesn't appear to be a major issue where I leave my bike so this more than meets all of my needs."

Locked up tight
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Rugged, High Quality
"Small enough to fit in my back pocket and takes up very little room in my courier bag. You have to find an appropriately thin item of street furniture to lock your ride to (works perfectly with bike spercific parking gubbins) but gone are the days of using lamp posts. It feels totally solid and I leave my bike with confidence. Kryptonite locks have an amazing reputation for a reason. Worth every penny & the key light is a little bit of icing on the cake."

Great lock - shame about the mount rattle
Pros: High Quality, Lightweight, small
Cons: rattles a lot in mount
"Great small lock. I just wish there was a better way of mounting it so it didn't rattle so much. I end up just carrying it in my bag. This isn't too much of a problem though as it's so small."

perfect city lock
Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Rugged
Cons: Unadjustable
"unbreakable lock. perfect size to slip in your back pocket or through your belt. unable to lock front wheel to frame to pole on frames with fatter bottom tubes (i have a visp and i suffer this problem) however this is easily solved with a kryptonite flex cable if you're gonna leave your bike in the city for a long time. top lock"

A fine lock for the pride and joy
Pros: High Quality, Rugged
"My first thought when the lock arrived was 'the lock is way too small'. However, if following the Sheldon Brown philosophy of bike security it's perfect. Splitting the lock in to it's two components makes it small enough to fit in a pocket. It is a very solid piece of kit with a suitably large number of key variants (reducing the chance of someone else having the same key). Downside is the lock is a bit heavy, but it's compact size means it is at the light end of the D-lock weight scale."

Best lock
Pros: Great Value, High Quality
"Fantastic lock. Not too heavy, but chunky enough that you know it will be up to the job. Found it fine for locking to most things, just make sure you have security skewers for your quick release wheels too. Then you only have to worry about securing the frame and gives you more options with a small lock. Only downside with the size is that I lost it yesterday in my house somewhere, happy days!"

Great solid lock
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Rugged, High Quality, Good Fit
"I own a long shackle Kryptonite U lock which is great for locking several bikes, but wanted something smaller and lighter. Decided to bight the bullet and get the most compact available. I like the fact that it can be stuffed in a back pocket, under a belt loop etc. The quality seems excellent, and it feel nice and beefy, providing good peace of mind. You'd have to be seriously determined to get through this baby. Obviously its has shorter reach, meaning you need to choose your post size carefully. This small disadvantage easily offset by the size and weight."

Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Rugged, High Quality, Versatile
"Heavy, reliable, attractive, functional and can be tucked away in the back of your pocket easily. If not just shove down your belt. No need to fiddle with cables and chains - this thing is super easy and quick to lock and unlock. Small price to pay for the peace of mind of knowing your frame will be safe and sound. A minor issue I've encounted is that the rubber stops at the end of the black metal D has sometimes caused a bit of nuisance as it slips up and prevents the orange flat bar from locking into place."

Very Secure
Pros: Durable, Attractive, High Quality
Cons: very heavy for size
"Confident my bike will be secure with this lock. A good looking lock, and nice and compact.
The only downside is that it is very heavy for its size - but probably requires this weight to make more secure.

Happy medium between security and portability
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Lightweight, drop it b'tween belt/ jeans you'll forget it
"this lock is ideal for isolating you bike for brief periods and being manageable in terms of carriage. I use a fixed gear for recreation and this provides the necessary security when leaving the bike for short periods. As I don't believe anything of value is completely securable in a city, this has provided a practical soution to keeping the load light but secure when needed."
