Spirited grip. Devilishly fast. Nobby Nic combines the incompatible! It has divine grip and goes like the devil. How is that possible?

Excellent tyre
Pros: High Quality, Versatile
Cons: Expensive
"I bought one for the front of my AM rig to replace a Kenda Nevegal. This is a bit lighter than the Nevegal and rolls nearly as fast. The tread pattern is one which will maintain good grip on anything from gravel fire trail to wet and muddy conditions, roots, rocks.
For the people who are worried about side wall protection they should look at the snakeskin versions as they will give that added security if you ride rocky trails. I haven't had any issues with punctures yet.
It is on the expensive side but overall you get what you pay for and you won't be dissapointed with the quality of this tyre."

Great Tyre
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged, Versatile
Cons: Expensive
"These really are the dogs, I bought one for the front to match my Racing Ralph on the back. I don't use the Ralph so much as I worry about the sidewalls when ridiing in the lakes, but this one stayed with me. Light, grippy, sidewall protection. Just the job"

Nobby Nic
Pros: Durable, High Quality
Cons: Expensive
"I was needing to replace my Maxxis Highroller for something a little less "draggy" and this fitted the bill nicely, also the black and red fits in with my overall bike colour scheme.
Just need to swap out the back tyre for a Racing Ralph and I'll be back into XC sprint mode.

Not good in mud
"Main gripe with these is they struggle in the mud, and it has been horribly muddy ever since I put them on. They won't shed the mud so it gets stuck between the tyre and bike to the point where there is serious resistance, and all too often I feel the back wheel spinning and all hope of grip vanish. It is probably my fault for not putting a mud specific tyre on, and I look forward to seeing what they do when it is a bit drier, but people I have been riding with who have different but still not mud specific tyres seem to fair better. In defence of the Nobby Nics the only non-muddy ride I've taken them on was in the snow - mud all frozen solid - and they coped pretty well with that.
So given the right conditions they may be a great tyre, and although I wouldn't recommend them at the moment I might change my view when the weather improves. But if it is muddy use something else."

exellent all round tyre

excellent overall tyre
Pros: Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
Cons: Wears Out Easily
"An excellent tyre for general use. Fast rolling, but still grippy enough to use when the going is wet or gnarly. I have been using these ttyres for the past 3 years, including on rock gardens and noticed very slight tears in the side walls after constant use. General trail excellent !"

Nobby Nic for Super Stick
Pros: High Quality, great grip, great on low pressure
Cons: slow on tarmac
"Have just finished Summit's 65m "H*** of the Chilterns" on my newly fitted 26" Nobby Nic's, 2.25 front and back. Such an improvement from my old Panaracer XC's where the black knobs on the side kept shearing off on rocky downhills. Rode the NN's on a medium pressure and was thrilled with the riding results. The softer rubber compound gives much better grip at the slippery climbs, on wet roots and through the lovely Chilterns mud. However, riding the NN's on tarmac is less enjoyable. The softer rubber and higher knobs make it hard work. But hey, if I wanted to be a roadie, I wouldn't ride a mountainbike! The tyres are also tubeless ready, so that will be my next DIY project, for a rainy day..."

Sorry Sidewall
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable
Cons: Low Quality
"Having just bought and fitted a pair of these tyres I was keen to ride the hype! First serious ride out going down a fast single track the sidewall of the rear tyre was split and a rapid deflate almost caused serious embarrassment (or worse). "Are those Nobby Nics" a mate asked, "really thin sidewalls apparently".
Couldn't agree more and won't be buying again. In mitigation it could have happened on another tyre type: it didn't."

Good but too pricey
"Great tyre but let down by the price and the speed of which the tyre wears out."

Fantastic Tyres
Pros: Rugged, High Quality
"I have a full carbon Cannondale that came stock with Conti Speed Kings which are a good light weight dry weather tyre, but were always a little sketchy on real fast technical stuff. Swapped them out for Schwalbe Nobby Nic Evolutions and these boots have transformed my ride, excellent grip in all conditions and they roll really well, play around with PSI's to get what suits you best."

Excellent grip
Pros: Lightweight, Good Fit, excellent traction
"Used the Nobby Nics to replace racing tyres supplied on a Felt Elite Six One. Great grip meant that the bike could now compete on the muddy single tracks during the spring racing season. Very good first impression for these tyres but too early to comment on durability."

Quality tyre
Pros: High Quality, great traction
Cons: skinny fitment
"I use the Knobby Nic as a front tyre matched with a Racing Ralph on the rear. Awesome traction and feel ( play around with pressures.!). Go 1 size up in width as they seem narrower than other brands. All in all, a great tyre.!"

Schwalbe Nobby NIc Tyre
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Rugged, High Quality, Versatile
"Quite an expensive tyre, but have had two sets now and not one puncture?? is it the thickness who knows, grips well on all terrain, slight noise when on tarmac but am sure you would get this with any tyre this grade, definately recommend and will be buying another soon to replace my front, oh and i would have to have the one with the white stripes :), they don't wear off."

Pros: Attractive, Lightweight
Cons: Wears Out Easily
"Not convinced, I got punctures ;)
Overall the tyres have performed well so far (punctures aside; it was wet and gravelly, I guess I'm just unlucky), with plenty of straight line grip in some totally absurd conditions. These come up a little thinner than I expected but that's cool as I've found my frame has miserly clearance when it gets muddy. They feel fast and react well under power but I do wonder about tackling more technical terrain so your mileage may vary.
They certainly look the part though. Give 'em a go."

Why look at any other tyre?
Pros: High Quality, Rugged
Cons: Expensive
"I have now used these tyres a few times and I cannot recommend them enough...Yes they are a touch on the pricey side and I hope I can get many miles out of them BUT they are worth every penny! I was sailing through claggy thick mud with ease, over wet roots without feeling out of control and most importantly...I was grinning from ear to ear on the big descents because of the speed I can now carry!
Great great product!"

Nobby Nic's
Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality
"These tyres are brilliant. They roll well on the road as well as give great grip on all MTB surfaces. From sand to mud through to gravel and rocks these would be one of the best all round yres I have ever used. The most noticable thing is there side bite. You can be ride along the edge of a wash out and the tyre will hold its grip on the steep edge without slidding in."
